Hey kids, with our new Adolf Hitler action figure you can create own Third Reich right in your own backyard!  Tony Zirkle says, "es ist das beste!"

I'll probably get Old!-ed for posting this, but I liked it, and it is zombie related.

Good news!  William Russell managed to get enough write-ins to get back on the ballot in his effort to take John Murtha's seat in Congress.

Even the NYT admits ethanol is a disaster.  Question, does Bill O'Reilly still flog for this ethanol idiocy?

The oldest oil paintings known to exist found amongst the ruins of the Buddha that the Taliban blew up.

Moronpundit and the Bar Slaves say all that needs to be said about tinpot Commie twat Hugo Chavez.

Some weapons grade pretentious douchebaggery.

Update on that pizza guy who had the nerve to shoot a guy who put a gun to his head.  Pizza Hut canned him.  So, let it be known officially, I will NEVER buy food from Pizza Hut again, and I'll avoid other Yum! brand restaurants from now on.  I hope all you morons do the same.  And no, I rarely ate Pizza Hut, local pizza joints are always better, but I'll avoid it like the plague from here on out.

And speaking of food, how about...chicken and crumpets?

Dueling Op-Eds.

Dueling newspapers.

Slublog I think expresses some of our frustrations with the Nanny tendencies of social conservatives.

One of Obama's official bloggers is a real deal Marxist.

Nanu Nanu!

They never do seem to learn that trashing voters they need in order to win elections isn't the brightest of strategies...

Interesting thought and question.

What a fucking embarrassment, he needs to be thrown out of the GOP immediately.  Why is this stupid Nazi twat running as a member of our party anyway?  The lefties are the Jew haters, not us.  We're agents of the Zionist-Neocon Global ConspiracyTM after all.

why they fear the five-seven

Last evening, Hotair and others linked a Brian Ross ABC anti-gun propaganda piece, which claimed Mexicans were coming to the US to buy up certain weapons to bring back to Mexico to be used by drug gangs, cartels and that sort of thing.  I suggest that you check out Bob's post at Confederate Yankee for a good critique of this ABC piece, but I want to focus on one part of anti gun propaganda in particular.  This line,

The drug cartels' weapons of choice include variants of the AK-47, .50-caliber sniper rifles and a Belgian-made pistol called the "cop killer" or "mata policia" because of its ability to pierce a bulletproof vest.

"It's in high demand by your violent drug cartels, their assassins in Mexico," said Newell of the ATF. The gun can fire a high-powered round used in a rifle.

The Belgian pistol Ross is talking about is the FN Five-seveN pistol.  And as Bob correctly states, it doesn't shoot a high powered round, or a rifle round, its a PDW round, which is a very light, small, low recoil round, designed for pistols and light rifles.

The Five-seveN, an eeeevil high powered high capacity cop and kitten killing assault death pistol

So, where did ABC get the "cop killer" line? My guess would be from the longstanding demagoguing against the Five-seveN by the fascist monsters at the Brady Campaign.  You can look at their propaganda and lies here, where you see them refer to the Five-seveN and the ammunition it uses as a "cop killer" repeatedly.

Where the fascists at the Brady Campaign try and trip people up is that there are 5.7 rounds that can penetrate armor, but these are heavily restricted and monitored so that only police, federal agencies and military personnel have access to this armor piercing ammunition.  The regular ammunition that is available to the civilian market isn't armor piercing, as loud as the Brady fascists scream that it is, it just isn't so.

The Fascist thugs at the Brady campaign have been attacking the Five-seveN since it was released, but why?  I know why.

The PS90, an eeeevil high powered high capacity cop and puppy killing semiautomatic Antichrist assault death machine

Gamers, and really, TV and movie junkies can probably tell you why the Brady Campaign fears the Five-seveN and PS90 too. Its because they're frequently featured in TV and movies, but probably most frequently seen in video games.  Off the top of my head, I know that the Five-seveN was in Resident Evil 4, called the Punisher, and Solidus Snake carried the P90 (the automatic military version of the rifle) in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.  I understand the P90 is also featured in the Stargate TV series.  I know the P90 is in the FPS Counterstrike, or at least is in one or some of its countless mods. Here, even this flash game has a Five-seveN and P90. I'm sure I've missed games that they appear on, but I have a laptop and Wii, so there isn't much FPS action for me as of late, which means I've probably missed it unless there's a cheat in Mario Galaxy that gives you one.

That is why they fear the Five-seveN, and have been so aggressive in demagoguing against it, because it is hugely popular in pop culture, and the opportunity for yoots who spend a lot of time playing video games and surfing the tubes to turn into young adults with Five-seveNs and PS90's scares the hell out of them.  They know that pro-Second people own the internet, and they are losing people my age because they can't compete in the marketplace of ideas online, and that pesky First Amendment won't let them do anything about it.

They know that "assault weapons" and cool looking guns like the PS90 and Five-seveN are the fastest growing market, and a lot of those are younger shooters.  The only hope the gun control movement has at enacting their vision for a bleaker Nannyfied tomorrow is to get permanent, unshakable "Assault Weapons" bans in place, and hope that in denying access to those guns will destroy interest in shooting amongst younger people.

hitchens is as clueless about catholics as obama is about pennsylvanians

Hotair has this piece Hitch wrote for the Mirror linked in their headlines.  Hitch states the obvious in that Obama got his ass handed to him here in PA after spending an obscene amount of money here.  Hethen gives way too much credit to the Clinton campaign in their exploitation of the Bitter comments.  And then,

It had briefly looked as if, with the endorsement of Bob Casey, Senator Obama would have a good chance of attracting the traditionalist and Catholic vote.

No it didn't, where the hell does he get that?  Obama was never going to make any serious inroads with those voters.  Bob Casey might have gotten a small number of voters for Obama, but nothing near what he would have needed to even make it close.  Hitch either got that from someone who was swooning under the spell of Obamania, or read a really crappy analysis.

But here is why I'm even writing this,

Whether the Pope’s recent visit affected this or not is hard to tell, but the apparent front-runner has a lot of work to do before he can count on the support of the old-fashioned households who care about guns, values, churches and other keywords and code words that Mrs Clinton can exploit with more conviction than he can.

The Pope?  Really Hitch?  Really?  *sigh*  The Pope had zero effect on the PA primary, none, and that isn't difficult to tell.  The key demographic that crushed Obama here were blue collar white Democrats, who tend to be pro-2nd Amendment and social conservatives in PA, that a lot of them are Catholic is incidental.  Don't buy the hype.

Obama did so poorly with those voters because he is the poster child of the New Left.  The PA Democrats that broke so heavily for Hillary are not of the New Left.  They'll only take so much New Left crap before they bail and go for the Republican.  These voters are going to vote for who is the lesser threat to their lifestyle.  The New Republic and I both recognized this a few days ago.

When Obama showed open disdain for PA's religious culture and strong gun culture like he did, he made himself the bigger threat to their lifestyles.  PA voters outside of the Soviet of Philly are pro-2nd and socially conservative, they have long been that way, and will likely stay that way.

Obama clearly didn't understand that, and shows no desire to understand it.  That makes him very dangerous in the eyes of PA voters.  It'll make winning the election nearly impossible for Obama, because Democrats usually need to win PA in order to win the election, and he can't do it.

These voters weren't shamed or influenced into voting a certain way by the Pope, Hitch needs to chill with his war on religion nonsense, it is definitely starting to effect his thinking in an ill way.

Thank God Hillary is such a megalomaniac, the liberal talking heads, nutroots and activists are losing their fucking minds.

Obama spinning, and would one of you morons ask Moronpundit a question already?  Also...homoment?

More shady Obama buddies.

FitchgateReally?  Beth's right, people are waaaay overusing -gate.  It was funny though, those three guys with A&F shirts, and the guy with the handwritten stuff on it.  I don't think they thought that one through.  And of course all the WSJ starts giving reasons why Obama can't win here, all of which I've been saying here for ages now.  Also a good post there on the NYT attacking Hillary, and on Hillary acting as a spoiler to help McCain.  As pitiful a candidate as McCain is, he could use that help.

Answer, they can't.  The Democrats are in a really bad spot.  If Hillary loses, but the superdelegates break for her because she has a better chance of winning in the general, there'll be riots in the convention.  If Obama wins it, he isn't gonna win in PA and I think it'd be surprising if he took Ohio.  If Hillary wins legit, which is really unlikely, and Obama refuses the VP slot, I think the black vote and some of the starry eyed Obama cultists stay home.  The only really bad scenario is if Hillary gets the nomination, and Obama accepts the VP.

Crossover votes broke for Obama.  I'm not surprised, Obama is critically weak in PA, and bitter Pennsylvanians know that Democrats don't win without PA.

Student who was planning massive attack on school facing WMD charges too, and could get a life sentence.  Good fucking riddance, lock him up and throw away the damn key.  Thank God he was caught.

More fun with GOP VP prospects...

*yawn* Democrats pushing for withdrawal again...

Cheney rules.

Sperm thief!

Sockless Joe thinks PA District 5 is looking good in the congressional race, that the Democrats might have picked the weaker candidate, and GOP probably picked the best candidate.  They had a sleazy guy named Matt Shaner who was pounding TV and radio with ads.   We were getting them here, and I'm in D-10.  Thompson had a pitiful budget and still won.

As for my district, Chris Hackett won, which is who I supported.  There was a debate where Hackett stated he wasn't going to pursue pork money.  Meuser said hell yeah I'm pursuing pork money.  I went with the anti-pork guy, and we got it.  Hackett also had more of the right endorsements and sounded a little less like he was throwing out boilerplate crap and offering the real thing.

The GOP lost PA D-10 in a fluke, Don Sherwood decided to have an affair and was accused of choking his mistress in an argument, so we should be able to get it back, D-10 is a conservative district.

What the...?

bitter pennsylvanian votes in pa primary

I don't think I ever publicly announced my plans for voting this year, whether I crossed over to see what havoc I could help sow in Operation Chaos, or if I would stay registered GOP in order to vote for the Congressional primary. So, here's the picture of who I voted for...

Because someone has to make Jimmy Carter to shut the hell up again!

I was confident enough that Hillary was going to take PA that I decided I was better served voting in the GOP primary when the registration deadline hit, and I think that hunch'll be confirmed.  So what to do after that?  Well, I wasn't gonna vote for McCain, so I voted for the best man ghoul for the job.

bill's bilge

Hi there, Malkinites!  Be sure to check out the rest of doubleplusundead, particularly the daily Moronosphere Links.

It has been a long, long time since I've done one of these, thankfully Cuffy has already done some of it.  You can see what he has here, here, here and here.  Unfortunately, this guy is a hell of a lot more wordy than Beauchamp, often as incoherent, and at least twice as moonbatty.  In any case, I've picked up a few choice quotes.  If you've got any choice quotes you've found, be sure to let me or Cuffy know.  I've also screencapped most of what I wanted because the ratbastard disabled text copy.

When you read Bill Ayers, you come away with four things,, he's a Marxist tool, he sees education as a subversive tool to be used by he and his ilk, he isn't sorry for engaging in terrorrist acts, and he clearly wants to redefine terrorism for his own benefit.

Was what Blizzard told Uwe Boll when he asked if he could do a World of Warcraft film.  You may remember, Uwe Boll is the director people have actually created a petition in order to make him retire from film. The exact quote,

“I got in contact with Paul Sams of Blizzard, and he said, ‘We will not sell the movie rights, not to you…especially not to you,’” Boll revealed. “Because it’s such a big online game success, maybe a bad movie would destroy that ongoing income, what the company has with it.”

Interesting, environmentalists never got this upset when people sneaking across the border were dumping tons of trash and waste into the environment.

Joe has some good coverage of his District's GOP Primary.  It's kind of depressing.  I have to say, I hope this Shaner guy doesn't win there, I've watched enough of his clumsy ham-fisted ads on illegal immigration this season to know the guy is gonna be an embarrassment.

This will be handy next time you get bombarded by "Tax cuts for the rich!" garbage from the lefties in your life.

Rosetta at The Hostages has a fun game for you to play.

Democrats already panicking about being "Swiftboated."  Read these two posts Nice Deb has, the Democrat elite are getting scared.  These connections with shady characters, Obama's inability to handle direct lines of questioning, hard leftist policy and his political ineptness are starting to damage to his image and campaign.

thirty one people shot, two stabbed this weekend in chicago

Damn guys, that's impressive, Detroit, LA, DC and Philly better watch out, or Chicago is gonna take the title of Biggest Hellhole in America.  Six of the people shot were killed.  I was gonna ignore this and just chalk it up to being a crime-ridden Marxist hellhole, but I noticed something, there's this,

Police recovered an AK-47 assault rifle from the scene, police said.

Was it an assault rifle or was it a semi-auto?  Methinks the latter.

You'll also notice if you read the article, the AK is the only weapon mentioned by name.  Why don't they tell us what the other guns that need to be banned are?  The AK was only used in one shooting, what about the others, or were they those hunting guns you say you support the right to own?

Also, I thought Illinois had strict gun control laws that are supposed to stop crime and keep guns out of the wrong hands?  What happened?

I'm so confused...oh wait, no I'm not, gun control doesn't fucking work, and nice anti-2nd Amendment propagandizing, Chicago Sun-Times, you shameless bastards.

an update on the maryland rino brigades

You guys remember this story?  In Maryland, some RINO tool was successfully challenged and beaten in the GOP primary by conservative Maryland state Senator Andy Harris.  As a result, a bunch of the RINO's supporters threatened to abandon the GOP and work on the Democrat's campaign.  Well, there's an update, and sure enough, the ousted RINO's campaign director is working for the Democrat, and I wouldn't be surprised to see more follow suit.

This is exactly why I'm in no mood to be told to fall in line by anyone, for anyone.  Conservatives are always expected to sell ourselves out to RINOs, but if a RINO is asked to do the same, the RINO scurries over to the Marxist side faster than you can blink.

Harris' campaign site is here, if you have a few shekels rattling in your pocket you can let go, you know what to do.

eu nannies try and impose noise regulation on bagpipers

I hope the Scots and Irish tell the EU to get fucked sideways, and play the pipes as loud as they can.  Enough of this bullshit.  Bagpipes played at full volume are hella loud, about 122 decibels.    So basically, this thing is a safety regulation, the EU wants to force pipers to either wear earplugs when they play or play quieter.  The EU needs to be told to stuff it when they start screwing with old traditions like this.

obama the firebug

It hit me this morning.  When it comes to burning bridges that matter, Obama's a real firebug.

A few weeks ago, NYMag had a story explaining why John Edwards hadn't made an endorsement, which I covered.  Camp Edwards never liked the Clintons because of their corporate and lobbyist ties.  Beyond that, the NYMag article reported that Elizabeth hates Hillary. So they were somewhat more inclined to support Obama.

Obama missed that opportunity.  NYMag reported,

Speaking to Edwards on the day he exited the race, Obama came across as glib and aloof. His response to Edwards’s imprecations that he make poverty a central part of his agenda was shallow, perfunctory, pat.

Obama? Glib and aloof, you say?  I'd have never guessed.  Hillary, on the other hand, was gracious and respectful toward Edwards after he ended his campaign, and again when they met in a second meeting, and managed to mend some fences with Camp Edwards.  Obama's first meeting with Edwards after he dropped out of the presidential race wasn't what destroyed the Edwards endorsement for Obama, his second meeting did that,

...in his Edwards sit-down, Obama dug himself in deeper, getting into a fight with Elizabeth about health care, insisting that his plan is universal (a position she considers a crock), high-handedly criticizing Clinton’s plan (and by extension Edwards’s) for its insurance mandate.

Not good, Barack.

So, why does the Silky endorsement matter?  What was Edward's base of support?  Poor whites, blue-collar workers, unions and the labor vote, right?  There is likely overlap between Edward's key demographics and those Obama alienated with the now famous Bitter comments.  Edwards could have been able to advise Obama on how to finesse his way through problems he already has with that demographic.  At the very least, Silky could have performed damage control for Obama after the Bitter disaster, or maybe have kept Obama from making that mistake in the first place.

As it is, Obama is probably not going to be able to gain good traction with this demographic, and as I noted (and oddly enough, TNR), this demographic problem is going to be a major hurdle for Obama in PA and other states, and quite possibly possibly an insurmountable one.

I wonder how long it'll be till the Secret Service pays this kid and his parents a visit.  I'd laugh, but this is actually kind of disturbing.  Reminds me of The Littlest Moonbat.

"Hope. Change. Unity. Cold-blooded Murder."  A profile on Obama's terrorist buddy Bill Ayers.

Obama unsuccessfully tries to connect with the everyman.  Also, Jonn gives warning about the American Hunters and Shooters Association, a front organization for anti-2nd forces trying to encourage Fudds to go Vichy on other gunowners.  I knew about AHSA, but you or others might not have.  It isn't a friend to gunowners, including Fudds.

Speaking of gunowners, turns out they're a pretty chipper bunch

Jim DeMint trying to derail senators Harry Reid and John Ensign's efforts to get pork for a Mag-Lev train from CA to Vegas.  Why do I call it pork? There are private companies that are interested in building it, without taxpayer funds.  We can't expect better from Reid, but Ensign ought to be ashamed.

Speaking of Dingy Harry, today is an anniversary for him too...

I usually like to have more than this for a story, but Moron Caliban says that he has a inside source he trusts claiming that a casino has been caught skimming their profits and kicking them back to Pakistan.  Something to watch out for.

Yet another reason our school systems are failing.

Soyuz capsule lands off course in Kazakhstan.  Which immediately made me think of the tantrums thrown over the fact that Cosmonauts carry survival pistols on their spaceflights, they carry them for a reason. Soyuz isn't a Space Shuttle that can glide to an airfield.

discovery channel caught using creative editing and re-enactments on 'deadliest catch'?

Discovery seems to be trying to finesse this, and I can understand why.  Deadliest Catch is popular because it has a reputation as a real recounting of the lives of Alaskan crab fishermen.  There aren't a lot of shows that offer exciting real life events like Deadliest Catch, and there is obviously a taste for this sort of show.

It isn't the first time Discovery has gotten in trouble over accusations of fudging on the authenticity of their shows.  Man Vs. Wild, another Discovery show received similar criticism a few years ago.

trust me benny, they don't need our help to do that

The Pope warns against undermining the UN, which you can pretty much read as criticizing the US for the tendency to engage in unilateral action.  You can argue against Iraq, but I'm damned tired of hearing the bitching about American unilateralism.  You want Americans to stop acting unilaterally? Then tell everyone else to do something for once!  He says,

He said the notion of multilateral consensus was "in crisis because it is still subordinated to the decisions of a few, whereas the world's problems call for interventions in the form of collective action by the international community."

No, multilateral consensus is in crisis because only the few (and by few, I mean mostly the US and a small number of allies) do anything to try and solve problems.  Does the US get things wrong sometimes, yeah, nobody has a perfect track record.

Of course, that's a handy thing for the rest of the western world, they can screech about a problem and never do anything about it, knowing we'll eventually move to solve said problem.  The US goes in to try and fix said problem, and everyone who sat on the sidelines bitches about how we do things.  Wash, rinse, repeat.

Benny, I like you, you've done some good things for our church, and shown some good signs in facing the jihadis, but please, please quit trying to undermine American sovereignty

Oh, and as for undermining the UN, don't worry, the UN doesn't need any help in that endeavor
