I mean really, doesn't this dude set off your gaydar?

So why am I blogging about this now? The case against closet homasecksul Paul Crouch, Jr has been settled - hopefully for something approaching the $2.5 million asked in the suit.
(Yes, I'm aware that the harassment is more likely because Junior's daddy had an extramarital affair with the plaintiff - but they say that that queer affliction can rub off on children if they're even in the same room with a big bad homasecksul, so it's likely that Junior caught it.)

I agree but I disagree.
Quoth Capt Ed
Whatever we’re doing in Afghanistan doesn’t appear to be working,
He goes on (and on and...bzzzz what was I saying?) about how we're screwing things up in our diplomacy.
Yes, but not in the way he means.
What we're seeing is a budding dictator, that Karzai's big whine is that he wants to take election monitoring away from the UN should be the first clue.
As to his Taliban threat, that's bullshit and he knows it. The Taliban will be his ally if he institutes sharia law and that's about it.
They're uninterested in anything else, they're true believers not realpolitik players. They'll take weapons from anybody, but they won't share power with anybody who doesn't execute women for showing a little wrist.
So the way I agree is that this is most likely a result of Obama's "diplomacy", but not our Afghan diplomacy.
It's a reaction to how Obama's reacted to every political problem in the world, he's sided with every dictator or budding dictator from Iran to Gaza to Honduras and who can forget his Grand Apology Tour where he apologized to various kings and sultans for evil America?
Karzai just sees the opportunity to become a dictator with the Great Satan's blessing.
I hope our generals are disabusing him of any notions of becoming *Al-Presidente for Life
*I know, that's Arab. Shut up. It was funny.

Yeah. I'm convinced that what they're saying is TOTALLY in our best interests.
Update: Well, sure, this guy is someone we should be listening to about the conservative movement, huh?
And he tries to say that the Dems aren't in bed with any media organizations with a straight face. Are they even trying anymore?

And, here's the damnedest thing—I was standing out in the front yard having a smoke when it struck, and I didn't feel it at all.

But, let's say it did pass somehow. Can you imagine the GINORMOUS Costco-style liquor stores that would spring up overnight just across the borders of Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon? People would be renting U-Hauls and filling them with booze to drag back to this hellhole. Oh, and to say that the black market would do a brisk business would be a huge understatement.
Yeah, this has the stink of FAIL all over it.

Looking for a sappy, cliched, novel to read? One predictable as most young-adult books and more degrading than harlequin romances? Well, To Kill a Mockingbird is your book.
Charlotte's Web:
It is because of this horrid book that I eat sausage every morning and tell my dad to kill every spider I see. It is a traumatic, coma-enducing story that has changed my life forever.
The Bible:
Man, this book is boring. All this weird stuff happens and it's harder to get into than Lord of the Rings. And what's up with the red writing and the LORD says stuff. All caps = rude, peter paul and mark, whoever the heck you are. And this is just badly written. James Patterson could do better. These apostles need to get a clue and hire a ghost writer. Even Miley Cyrus's manager was smart enough to do that. Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ, indeed.

and
He is risen, Alleluia!
Behold, the bonds of Death and Despair have been forever broken on this night. The Light has broken the Darkness, as Jesus of Nazareth has risen from the Dead, fulfilled the prophecies of old, and granted to all of us the gift of Eternal Life.
I know the last year or so has been tough on a lot of us, including our little online community. But so long as we believe our Eternal Gift awaits us, Death and Sadness will never win.

How is it that Mark Steyn can be put on trial for hate speech for raising the question of what rising Muslim birthrates mean to Canadian culture, but this gets a pass?

Kal Penn, best known as the latter half of stoner duo "Harold and Kumar," is reportedly leaving his White House post as associate director of public engagement to make a return to the Silver Screen. While I was stuck lying on the couch a couple of weeks ago nomming Flexeril like they were candy, I re-watched season 5 of House, and found myself contemplating how far Kutner had come, from having a role on a critically acclaimed, nationally syndicated show with 12 million viewers to being the sad guy sitting on a stool in a bar in DC*, sucking down drinks and hitting on guys by asking them, "Hey, wanna see my stethoscope?" or maybe trying to use his job in the White House as a tool to impress, except now that there are eleventy billion czars and he's not one of them, it's not quite so impressive.
At least his suicide made for fun TV. I thought it was going to be Taub lying on the floor in a pool of blood, myself.

Admit it, most of you were all excited for a second.

Since, as we all know, the Right has no sense of humor, they were obviously proud of this comparison, and quickly went out to bomb federal buildings.
It's like January 20, 2001 to January 20, 2009 never happened.

Via Weasel Zippers' baconblogging we find out that Canadians are real Morons.
A poll
Quote
The people of Canada sure love their bacon. In a recent survey..., 43% of the respondents said they would rather have bacon than sex.
I also have to wonder if Moron Pundit has a few wives in Canada
Quote
Nearly one in four of respondents (23%) wondered if ‘my partner loves bacon more than me’
My only problem? They're Canadian so they're probably talking about that ham stuff they call "bacon".
