Welcome to the world of Humans vs. Zombies (HvZ), a tag-like game that is the latest trend in campus entertainment. An HvZ game typically involves hundreds of students and runs 24 hours a day for days on end; dwindling numbers of humans try to fend off and outlast growing legions of zombies. They have a website dedicated to the game here. It sounds like fun, and it's probably good training for the coming apocalypse. The rules are fundamentally simple: Zombie tags human, human becomes a zombie. Unlike movie zombies, with shambling walks and undead makeup, zombies in the game just wear headbands to distinguish them from armband-wearing humans. And they are free to sprint.
Humans ward off zombies with Nerf guns or by hitting them with a balled-up sock — a defensive move that stuns the zombie, usually for 15 minutes. The goal is to still be a live human at the end.

Have things really reached the point where ANY criticism of Obama is racist? Next thing you know, criticism of Obama for having the most liberal voting record in the Senate will be called racist. Criticism of Obama for being against the surge will be called racist. Hell, next thing you know, criticism of Joe Biden will be called racist, because Biden is the running mate for a black man and, well, any criticism of him is code for racist opposition to Obama.I am actually awaiting that last bit. I hadn't thought about it before, but now it seems inevitable.

Might I remind everyone that they are v.v. necessary indeed? (SortaSFW)
Yes, this is utterly gratuitous to cheer me up after the Cubs utter collapse. You're welcome.
Update: It was pointed out that I am not being fair and balanced in my objects of lust presentation of cheerful items. That has now been rectified. And made a wee bit less SFW.

Remember, the truth is what Dear Leader says it is!
Update: Gov. Palin pointing out Obama's association with Ayers is also, you guessed it, racist.

It's all just a taste of what's to come if Obama wins and Democrats have even bigger majorities in Congress, emboldening them to try to crush their antagonists once and for all. "Hate is not a family value" was a popular bumper sticker on the left during the 1990s. Now, the left has embraced hate as, if not a family value, the organizing spirit of its long assault on George W. Bush, and anyone else in the way, from Joe Lieberman to Sarah Palin.
America's partisan politics has always featured its share of rancorous abuse, but there's something rancid at the heart of the new, blog-driven left that believes its bullying childishness has led the way out of the wilderness. This spirit will inevitably seep into an Obama administration. Whatever Obama's professions of his commitment to cross-partisan understanding, he's never confronted the left of his own party and has always been willing to engage in hardball when it suits his purposes.
Little Keith Olbermanns will surely be burrowed throughout his executive branch, eager to chill the speech of the "worst people in the world."
If Obama wins, it will be the vindication of the Kos style of politics, complete with viciousness, name-calling, physical intimidation, the use of political offices to intimidate opponents, and the marriage between members of the media and the most vile elements of the blogosphere (remember: many media critters post stuff at Kos and DU either overtly or behind user names). Do we really want that style to be rewarded?

2. Get linked by network that hushed up Saddam's crimes for better access.
3. Sit back and enjoy as drooling retards flood your comment section.

The Obama ad has a hunter who says that he's a lifetime NRA member say he's voting for Obama and there's some voiceover work saying that Obama supports the Second Amendment. The ad then segues into other topics.
I find these very interesting. There must be some internal polls from the Obama camp showing that the gun thing is hurting him. The Carney ad is really fascinating since illegal immigration is a huge, huge issue up here. This is Barletta country, after all. I was stunned to find out that Carney voted against the bail out. Last I knew, he was up 10 points. I wonder if the internals are tightening up.
Does it mean anything? Hell if I know. But if NEPA is in play, well, that could be huge.

The Senate-passed bill includes an array of so-called “tax extenders.†One extends for two years a tax policy that had been allowed to expire in December that lets motor-sports facilities be treated the same as amusement parks and other entertainment complexes for tax purposes.
Sigh. Oh well, I guess I could console myself in the fact the New Lingerie Football League is starting up.

The usual caveats about this kind of strategy are expressed:
Being so aggressive has risks for McCain if it angers swing voters, who often say they are looking for candidates who offer a positive message about what they will doYou know, I've been drinking and smoking (and living up to my image) all night, but I'm pretty sure this kind of thing surfaces every year, where pundits talk about how undecided voters hate negative campaigning but it works anyway, and I'm too tired to look it up, but let's go for it:
-Barack Obama has ties to unrepentant domestic terrorists like Bill Ayers.
-Barack Obama got a sweetheart deal on his property through ties with a convicted felon. Namely, Tony Rezko. Though I'm not sure how that helps Michelle Obama's children.
-Barack Obama worked for ACORN, a group that is neck-deep in the current financial crisis and is involved in voter fraud.
-Barack Obama was a member of a church whose pastor preached hatred of America and racist dogma for twenty years, was married there, and had his kids baptised there, but claims he never heard any of the hatred in spite of the fact that he titled one of his books The Audacity of Hope after one of his Pastor's anti-white-people, anti-American sermons.
Do you know an undecided voter? Maybe someone who's been suckered by the message of Hopenchange? Please, put them some knowledge. Note that the Hope, Change, and Judgment To Lead is little more than a slogan.

Know what, let them sink, enough is enough. Frankly, someone ought to write a bill to repeal the $700 billion bailout for this insult.
