A German man's neighbors realized that he hadn't left his house in a week, and an odd smell was emanating from where he lived.  Fearful of what they might find, they called the police.  The cops broke in and they found the man sleeping wearing a reeking pair of feet and a pile of dirty laundry.  That is so nasty, how can you possibly emit such a wretched smell.

Vocational Tech Administrator Punches Kid That Tried to Give Him a Titty-Twister

Or Nipple-Twister, Or Purple Nurple, or whatever you call it in your area.  Apparently, a lot of students were running around giving titty-twisters to other students, and when one of the kids went after him, he socked him. He's charged with simple assault, and may be denied unemployment.  The admin is crying racism, of course. 

I can understand and respect his frustration, but not his action.  There are a whole lot of students who literally are more animal than human in their behavior.  Truly, and I don't mean that to be a funny exaggeration.  There are many reasons why I chose not to go into education as a career.

Shanghai Theater Manager Dies Trying to Evacuate People From Burning Building

The Theater Manager got most to evacuate, but had carried several people out of the theater on his back. He also made sure that people had evacuated the apartments that are over the theater.  He was found in the theater after the fire had been stopped, holding a fire extinguisher in one hand and a cell phone in the other. 

Now that's heroism.

New Study Says Perceived Racial Discrimination Causing Increased Breast Cancer in Black Women

Now notice, the title of the Reuters article says "Racial Discrimination Tied To Breast Cancer Risk".  Interesting how the title makes that big leap from perceived racism to "Discrimination Tied To Breast Cancer", huh? 

Anyway, the study itself makes sense at least in theory, if people believe they are being discriminated against (whether they are or not is a different story), they will have increased stress and be more likely to fall ill, obviously.

"Star Wars Fans Hate Star Wars"

This is an interesting read, and really, I think most of what he says makes sense. 

I'm not a rabid Star Wars fan, but enough that I can identify with a good bit of what he says. Particularly the edits that Lucas made and the CGI crap he did.  Of course the obligatory Ewok hate is there.

He also goes after the books for making a convoluted contradictory mess, and I agree with that assessment.  I have a pile of them that I had read during my yoot sitting in the back of my closet that I need to get rid of, I hardly remember them, which is a damning sign they were crap. 

He also goes after the animated series, which are all horrendous, and we all know it.  I couldn't even stomach watching the famed Holiday Special. 


But I will say he is 100% wrong on the KOTOR series(Knights of the Old Republic), it rules, end of story, HK47 in particular, rules. Of course, I also liked Jade Empire, which has a similar style to KOTOR, so maybe he is right.


I will say for the record, I have yet to watch II and III of the prequels.  I couldn't stomach it after having Jar Jar Binks inflicted on me.  Burn in hell Lucas!

Five Year Old Kid Holds Down Rabid Fox Till His Father Could Kill It

Tough kid.

Said he wanted to protect the other kids.  He was bitten and is undergoing the rabies treatments now. 

Damned impressive.  The fact that a five year old kid could be that calm and focused while being attacked by a rabid fox is amazing.  I think most adults wouldn't be able to handle the situation as well as he did.

The fox may have attacked another kid as well, who was attacked nearby and is undergoing rabies treatment.

Ron Paul Activists Poll And Site Spamming Exposed!

It names names too. 

They are basically spammers who work to boost anything on the Digg site tagged with the name Ron Paul.  I think I've seen a few of those names actually, not on righty blogs, but other places.  They undoubtedly do the same thing at other places.  These guys network and work to spam sites, some of them use multi accounts or don't admit they are campaigners or activists, which violates Digg and other site rules. 

Now if only this guy goes after liberals burying posts by Michelle Malkin and other Right sites. 

Oh, and here's a link from the John Birch Society, heaping praise on Paul after his event in Iowa.  Russ From Winterset, a fellow Ace of Spades moron, went as a spectator, and was decidedly less impressed as you can see in his guest post.

Is it just me or does the John Birch report on Ron Paul's little campaign event bring back memories of this guy?

Crazy

Is what you would call this woman.  Her 65 year old husband reported that when he came home from work, she had a big cut on her leg, and was acting erratically, no surprise, alcohol was involved.  She claimed she cut herself chasing a deer.  Her husband tried to take her to the hospital, she refused and demanded an ambulance. 

She then grabbed a shotgun and tried to start arguing with him.  He grabbed the shotgun and threw it over an embankment and tried to go to bed.  She then grabbed a sword and threatened him with it.  He then called the cops.


When the police tried to detain her, she kicked one of them in the nads and the other in the shin.  After they finally detained her and threw her in the squad car, she kicked out the cruisers window.  They then put her in leg restraints, and to the hospital. 

She's being booked on suspicion of assault  with a  deadly weapon,  public drunkenness, battery of  a police officer and felony vandalism.

Now after reading that, click the link, the picture of her is classic.  Look at the grin on her face!

Bystanders Ignore And Take Pictures Of Woman Dying Of Stab Wounds In Store

This is like Kitty Genovese, maybe worse.  People were taking pictures with their cell phones and then walking off!  The woman got in a fight with two people, was stabbed, then died of her wounds at the hospital.  Unbelievable.

Psychopath Anti-Video Game Zealot Jack Thompson May Have License to Practice Suspended

Awesome!

Couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy.  Not only is his license likely to be suspended by the Florida BAR, he is likely to be advised to go to have psych tests to see if he's fit to practice law, as part of a mediation between the state BAR and Thompson.  Double Awesome! 

Most gamers know who Jack Thompson is, but for those of you who don't know, Jack Thompson is a psychotic asshole who has tried for years to make video game producers and distributors into the next Big Tobacco, as in, the next big place for lawyers to score big lawsuit settlements.

The last time he was in the news he was on several cable news channels blaming video games for Cho Seung-Hui's rampage through Virginia Tech.  Of course we know now that isn't the case.

He would try to intimidate people and video game news sources and sites who criticized him (most famous probably being Penny Arcade) by threatening them with legal action and filing reports with police if they criticized him.  

Finally the BAR has stepped in to regulate this slimeball.  I hope they take his license.  Stupid fucker.
