Seriously, how much would that suck? Where do you go with your life after you've been declared a goddess, and then demoted? It has to go downhill, right? What's higher than being a god? "Hey, shut up! I used to be a goddess!" "Yeah, used to be."

If the left wants to set up little Socialist communes, as long as they aren't forcing their idiotic ideology on those of us who still believe in a free market, I say let 'em. It might actually calm things down, politically speaking.
Let's face it, America is facing a split in identity between Eurosocialist minded people and traditional American values, and its not gonna change. I think the best solution is to convince everyone to run their own neighborhoods the way they want, and not try and impose it on the whole country. Let people choose where they want to live, and eventually one side will prove itself in its superior performance.

He's working with Davis Bossie, who was involved in investigating the Clintons during Whitewater. It should be interesting. If they focus on new shady dealings that the Clintons are engaged in, and the true nature of Hillary, it could have an impact, if Bossie tries to use it to swipe at the Clintons of the 90's in an act of personal vendetta, it will help her.
The trick will be if they can dredge up a big enough event, advertise well, distribute widely(this film needs to be everywhere, particularly in middle America and more rural areas if it is to have an effect), and be able to bypass or overwhelm the media's spin and slander of the film.

She starts off by saying;
Immigration reform is dead. But before conservatives who killed this bill start popping champagne corks, they ought to consider the following.
Start? Honey, we've been celebrating since cloture failed. Whatever, continue...
Our borders will be less secure, not more.
Okay, so lets propose a bill that just builds a wall and increases the US Border patrol. Certainly we all want the border secured, right? And given that the government has proven itself wholly untrustworthy to accomplish, well, anything, perhaps we need to just focus on basic security measures, y'know, baby steps. Hey, Michelle Malkin has a good idea, we could use that $4.4 billion offered in the Amnesty bill last time around to help build it! Anyway, let's see what other bits of wisdom Chavez has to offer.
Employers who want to do the right thing and only hire legal workers won’t have the tools to do so.
So how about tamper proof IDs for all legal immigrants here in the US? There aren't that many, so it wouldn't be hard to put together such a system. Plus, I'm sure you are aware, many employers are less than cautious about their hiring practices.
I have to admit, though she isn't my favorite person in the world, Ann Coulter offered up a nice suggestion, how about allowing illegals to sue for back wages from when they worked for under minimum? I bet that would give some motivation to the agribusiness giants that are pushing hard for open borders to actually look into who they're hiring. My guess is unless they are real sure someone is legal, they won't hire them.
The 12 million illegal aliens who are here now will continue to live in the shadows, making them less likely to cooperate with law enforcement to report crimes and less likely to pay their full share of taxes. In other words, the mess we created by an outdated and ill-conceived immigration policy 20 years ago will just get worse.
Mi corazón! It aches knowing that people who violate our laws aren't going to be rewarded for doing so and have to live in the shadows. They're less likely to pay their share of taxes? Um, duh, that's kind of the point, why do you think they get hired in the first place? So that businesses can evade taxes, insurance, conditions, regulations, health codes and things like worker's comp. Plus when they are legalized, they will likely be given full access to entitlements, and will likely drain much more from our economy than they already are.
But you won’t hear this if you tune in to talk radio or read conservative blogs.
Oh we hear it Linda, and we have an army of people that just revels in ripping these weaksauce talking points to shreds.
There will be lots of gloating over having killed “amnesty.â€
Will be? Try is, and it was hard earned.
There will be claims that senators finally “listened to the people.â€
They did, with a huge grassroots effort, it took us breaking their fucking phone system because we overloaded it, but they listened.
And, no doubt, some conservatives will be emboldened to consider the next step in their war against illegal immigration, namely to deport those now here illegally.
Aww, are you mad that we'll be taking advantage of our popular support to trounce your open border dreaming, que lastima!

In the Beltway’s eyes, Markos leads a movement of progressives in the blogosphere. But this is inaccurate, and Markos would be the first to tell you so. Markos doesn’t lead the movement. He stands in front of it and is symbolic of it, but the movement’s direction and interests flow directly from the people who compose it. The movement is a bottom-up thing, not something that a guy leads from the top.
This is exactly right, when we talk about Kos, we're talking about a movement, the Nutroots. Kos is just a face to put on the movement.
Then there's this,
That being the case, all they have to do is soothe the savage breasts of Markos and other rabble-rousing bloggers and then get back to business as usual.
Some typos are just too funny not to point out, emphasis mine.
But it doesn’t work like that. If Markos came out tomorrow and said he’s supporting Hillary, the people who read his blog would tell him to pound sand. They would keep reading his blog, but they wouldn’t open their hearts or their wallets for Hillary.
CONSERVATIVE TALK RADIO has the same kind of dynamic. The people who listen to conservative talk have their own views, and they are extremely well informed ones at that. They listen to conservative talk because they hear opinions that are friendly to their political and personal philosophies.
Again, all true, and I can even think of a specific example of this happening in talk radio, and Rush of all people. Remember the Dubai Ports deal? Rush was at least nominally for it, and laid out a pretty strong case for it. He knew it would fall through, but he disagreed with what I would wager was a wide majority of the legions of Dittoheads who regularly listen to him, and my guess is, nearly all of them still do listen to him. Barnett references Hugh Hewitt's support of Harriet Myers as another example.
THERE’S ANOTHER AREA WHERE Mort has it completely bass-ackwards, and this one, while less important than the other, is pretty damn important in its own right. A lot of conservative politicians haven’t enjoyed the presence of conservative talk radio and the right half of the blogosphere recently. Some nostalgists like Trent Lott even yearned for the good old days of the Fairness Doctrine. But, as we saw in the past, Trent Lott is nostalgic for some pretty weird things.
This is a huge problem on the right, and its hurting us, bad. The left not only acknowledges that the Nutroots exist, they grovel at any opportunity they can. Several of the Liberal elite send writeups to Kos, and its no secret that Elizabeth Edwards is a both a Kossack and a DU fan.
The GOP elite ignore us and talk radio as much as possible, and its results are consistently bad. Barnett says, correctly so, that had the GOP elite spent less time bitching about talk radio and slandering the base, they might have realized what a disaster this Amnesty Bill could have been, it was disastrous enough even as it failed.
BLAMING TALK RADIO AND THE BLOGOSPHERE for the Republican Party’s difficulties? That’s just killing the messenger. The political class would be well advised to remember that the message that so distresses them comes from the people.
Well said, and the elite better take notice. We'll hope. I'm not real optimistic.

I think ultimately John McCain is a victim of the new media. You can no longer piss all over the base and expect to do so unscathed. Between 24/7 news services, talk radio and the internet, every time McCain screws the base, they hear about it. Its not even that the conservative base and McCain disagree, there are many conservatives that disagree strongly with Rudy Giuliani on many issues, but still like and respect him, and would support him over McCain on any given day, even if Rudy proved to be more liberal in his voting record, and I think the reason for that is respect. McCain has no respect for conservatism as a movement.
Even where Rudy and the conservative base totally part ways in belief, people still respect him because he seems respect the difference of opinion as a disagreement. McCain on the other hand almost seems to revel in the bases hatred, and seems to be in particular ecstasy when turning his dagger in the backs of the people that make up the conservative movement.
Obviously the Amnesty bill was the deciding clash between the base and John McCain, and the base won. The base will continue to fight and try and weed out people like McCain. Lindsey Graham, being McCain's heir apparent, will likely be the next to face the wrath of the conservative movement.
Most trends I see show conservative and liberal bases are rooting out unreliables within their own parties, and this process is just the beginning. Some people are turned off by the unsavory nature of this purging and strident ideology, and will divorce themselves from the process. I, however, find myself strangely drawn to it.
Overall, I believe that most will end up choosing sides and become much more passionate in political ideology, and that centrists are going to find themselves become less relevant in elections, as bases are moving into a position to be well enough organized to sit out elections or purge elites who fail to bend to their will.
The new media is a natural extension of this realignment. While we're still badly outnumbered by the liberal MSM establishment, the new media gives us conservatives a way to bind together as a movement, which means we are no longer expendable to the GOP elite. We have to continue to work together to strengthen those ties.
UPDATE:
McCain boots 50 staffers and gives out pay cuts. The ship is sinking, but McCain looks like he may try and hold out, at least for a while. His campaign manager might just donate his services.

There are conflicting reports as to whether he's even accepted the invitation. I kind of hope he goes. If the Iranians keep him, feeding that man-sow ought to sap their already crappy economy, or if they send him back, it gives us yet another piece of evidence to show that there is a sizeable portion of the Left that is out to undermine our nation within.

Seriously, we should be welcoming this. A good number of Malkin's commenters seem to think its an Outrage! Not me, it would be a free PR campaign for us. Let them tie up traffic in marches, or riot and burn shit like the Jihadis in Paris. If they do trash places, make a repair fund and really make them look like bastards. We'll see demand for enforcement on the border and internally rise substantially.

A secret U.S. law enforcement report
Not a fucking secret now...
Anyway, the report says the Al-Qaida vermin are trying to go for a big hit this year. Look, yeah, Al-Qaida is always looking to make a big hit on Western nations, the US particularly, but you don't need to remind the fuckers that we're watching, and they might be using this info.
I'm getting real tired of journalists deciding they need to release sensitive info because they want to undermine Bush and Republicans. This again shows that the Left is more interested in seizing power than fighting our common enemy, and reiterates my point that we need a conservative MSM.
