Consultant haematologist Richard Chasty, who saw Mrs Pathak three days before her death, said she may have survived if diagnosed sooner.And be sure to read the whole thing to find out about the details of her "appropriate" care. Especially if you've got a loved one with a life-threatening disease.
At the hearing in Stoke, coroner Ian Smith ruled that Mrs Pathak died of natural causes. A hospital spokesman said she received ‘appropriate’ care based on her clinical condition.

I worked in New Zealand as a Senior Medical Consultant in a North Island District Health Board in 2006-2007 until returning to the USA. New Zealand models their system after the NHS...
NHS is rancid. The "Doctors" (actually, the Brits give their guys a "Master's" degree) cannot think outside a box to save their (or other people's) lives. No independent thought at all. Very poor quality of care compared to the USA.
