Unofficial Straw Poll
As most of you know, I am in the process of driving cross-country. I have driven through parts of Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
I have seen the following presidential bumper stickers:
W '04: 8
Obama: 3
Ron Paul: 2
Kerry/Edwards '04: 1
McCain: 0
You may now discuss amongst yourselves what that means for the general election.

I know a fair number of McCain voters, but AA's hardly a safe place to drive around with any republican bumper sticker. Offices here are decided in almost exclusively in (D) primary.

McCain is doing surprisingly well here in L.A., though Obama is doing much better. There are also a few Kucinich cars running around. And, of course, the Cthulu '08 sticker on the back of mine.

So I stopped by the OC Republicans booth at the OC fair yesterday. Lots of pics of McCain, but no bumber stickers.

uh, none of us actually like McCain enough to go to the trouble of putting on a bumper sticker? or none of us feel like having our cars vandalized.
