Tough. Smart. Strong.; Now with stupidity-induced update!

Here is some of the nuanced diplomacy of the Obama administration (emphaisis mine):

The real views of many in Obama administration were laid bare by a State Department official involved in planning the Brown visit, who reacted with fury when questioned by The Sunday Telegraph about why the event was so low-key.

The official dismissed any notion of the special relationship, saying: "There's nothing special about Britain. You're just the same as the other 190 countries in the world. You shouldn't expect special treatment."

Who knew HopeTM and ChangeTM meant snubbing countries who are nice to us and sucking up to countries who want to wipe us off the map?  Oh, right, just 48% of Americans.

Update:  Apparently this was already written about (see comment #2).  I really should start reading this blog or something.

1 It's probably safe to assume that the unnamed "State Department official involved in planning" is most likely NOT an Obama appointee.  The rot goes deeper than this administration.
