Something the RNC/McCain did displeases Michelle Malkin?

I know I'm shocked.

I love ya Mrs. Malkin, but I get the feeling that if Gov. Palin didn't have new clothes, you'd be wondering why they didn't feel the need to buy a candidate from Alaska clothing suitable for the weather in the lower 48.

Let me get this straight: Malkin is blaming the RNC for the MSM covering Palin's wardrobe? Like the RNC sent out a press release blaring this or something?! Malkin hasn't been right since that whole Romney thing--her and Charles at LGF who jumped the shark about a year ago.

Further, let me understand that when Palin wasn't stylish enough for the press, she got pilloried for it; now that she is stylish, she's pilloried because they got her some new duds--have I got that about right?

Meanwhile, Obama is spending cash like a drunk, power mad, demi-god (which, actually, I guess he is) and not a peep out of anybody...

3 Malkin just wantys attention, and another book deal. You have to question her judgement, since she did hire Allah.

5 I thought she was being "hughhewitthysterical." Which means you are outraged by something nobody else cares about. Of course she needs a wardrobe. Is she going to wear the same 3 suits for the whole campaign? And who cares that the RNC is paying for it. $150,000 for a women being seen nationally 24/7 is not that much.

6 5: she is (in)famous for that, witness her fit over the Dunkin Donuts/ Rachael Ray commercial.

7 Yeah #5, how much did the DNC spend on suits for Obama?  Or muzzles and Rogaine for Biden?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Yeah, Charles at LGF was as over-the-top on that as she was (if not worse) and was mighty ticked when anyone (not me, mind you) dared suggest that he might just be taking it a little too far.

Look- a MALE repub politician only needs three suits, 6 white shirts, and three red ties.

A FEMALE repub politician needs to look good. God knows we've had so few that are as attractive as Sarah. This is one of her assets. USE IT. Politics is PR.

Michelle Malkin can be a bit strident at times.

12 It's a sign of tonedeafness on the part of whoever was responsible for the shopping.
Joe the Plumber's wife doesn't shop at Neiman Marcus or Saks; she shops, at best, at Macy's, or JCPenney's, or Sears.  So the place where the clothes were bought conflicts with the idea of Palin as your everyday suburban housewife.
Plus, I can guarantee you that she could buy clothing at Penney's that would be just as good looking, for a lot less than 150K.  Or at least, buy a lot more clothing for that amount.
I say Penney's because I happen to work there.  I'm not saying that as advertisement (primarily--but if you happen to live in my area...), but because I know what we sell.   I'm sure it would meet the approval of Gov. Palin and the RNC.  But perhaps not Alex .  Her taste in shoes does seem to run at the Neiman Marcus level.

Joe the Plumber's wife isn't running for Vice President of the United States either.

There are a SHITLOAD of Jobs, that pay less than 50K a year, that have clothing allowances.

You don't think that the second most powerful person on the planet would be afforded a clothing allowance?

I made 22.3K a year (service, thats including bennies) and I had a clothing allowance, cuz it was part of my job to look a certain way.

Also, the RNC is a private group, established to assist the members of the party they are building/maintining, so if they can see a reason to do it, let them do it.

Also, Palin is VP candidate, not a non-governmental entity, like Hillary, stalling transit for a fucking haircut.

Right now, the candidates are official entities, Just ask Vogue.
