Rep. Don Young picks up a major retarded endorsement

Yes, one of the biggest kleptocrats in the House has received an endorsement from another person on my Least Favorite Republicans list: Gov. Mike Huckabee.

Make sure to go to that link and read the comments.  There has been so much outrage that he has had to post an update to his initial announcement.  Classic Huckafail.

Exit question: Did Huck endorse Young because he actually believes in the Congressman or because he wants to beat Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell, who was endorsed by the Club for Growth Greed, in the GOP primary?

You can contribute to Parnell's campaign here.

1 HA, funny!  I just put up a blurb about the Hucktard's endorsement of Don Young at CG.

4 I had wanted to do that in links a few days ago, but with CG, I've been neglect in doing them.  Keep posting guys, I'm still reading, but I'm just finding it tough do links and CG.

5 They're discussing this over at thenextright but unfortunately there is a large contingency of Huckaphoney fans over there defending the endorsement as an issue of personal loyalty because Young endorsed Huck.

I must say I'm disappointed in how thenextright is working out.  There's a very unfavorable signal to noise ratio there.

6 I've been keeping an eye on TheNextRight also.  Complete waste of time unfortunately.  It would be more accurately named TheNextCompleteFailure.

7 K-Lo puts it succinctly: "Goodbye, Huckabee"

8 Yeah, I wondered about that, there are things they could do with format to help that too.  Frankly, I don't think the "give everyone their own" method is the way to go.

Inevitably, for every solid person like you or Ruwe there is, there's a horde of people just hoping for a built in audience, or crackpots or trolls looking for an audience, which becomes impossible to control.

I think what they should have done is start a regular blog with the three founders, built up an audience, then slowly begin to recruit their better commenters and bloggers they like by invite only.  They should have built a large core of solid bloggers loyal to the site before opening the gates to everyone.

9 Oh, I could have told you the OpenInvite format was doomed. Just look at Obama's blog/website. When you have message you want to get out, you have to control it. Otherwise, like you guys say, you get every crank looking to get a built in audience so the can explain how Obama is gonna build work-camps and reeducation centers.
