Not-so-random thought

Does anyone else thing that, in the spirit of "never letting a good crisis go to waste," we'll suddenly be hearing TOTUS say that we need universal health care now, without any debate, lest the Swine Flu overtake the less fortunate members of our society?

2 You'd think that a health crisis might prompt Obama to nominate a fully acceptable HHS head. You know, one who doesn't take large donations from really controversial late-term abortionists.

You might even think that he would have put off his golfing weekend to make sure that position was filled, in light of the impending health crisis.

4 I'm pretty much in favor of a President getting wide latitude in his cabinet nominations, but what particular skillset does ole Sebilus bring to the table? Does she have some anti-viral properties I'm unaware of?
