3 Actually the "Tillman as victim of friendly fire" story was on e of the first pushback stories in the MSM.  His entering the service was picked up by the press as a patriotic color story, but his death was seized as one of the first anti-war memes.
Sad, in so many ways.

4 In the PA Gov race, I'm supporting Corbett, but I'm decreasingly excited about that every time he opens his mouth.

Rohrer is a pretty solid state rep (though he did vote for the infamous pay raise).  I think he would get crushed in a general election.  As a campaigner, I don't think he's focused on the issues that will win.  He's more focused on wonky policy stuff, which is not entirely bad, but you need to know how to sell it, and I don't think Rohrer does.

I'm much more vexed by the Lt. Gov race.  I am not a Cawley supporter, but I don't know who (if anybody) will emerge as the standard bearer against him.  I'm leaning towards Steve Johnson at this point, but I'm not married to that concept.  I've heard bad things about just about all the candidates except Kennedy, who doesn't seem to be getting any traction.

5 Thanks Joe, looking at that questionaire, Rohrer agrees with just about everything but term limits. The one snipet from his ad that I heard that intrigued me was him wanting to do away with school property taxes. Thats something I could really get behind, since they cost me about 4 times what I pay to the county for prop taxes. Would save me about 3 grand a year ( I own both sides of a duplex, so I get bit twice).
