I'm sure this will be effective

A petition to tell big bad Rush Limbaugh how much he hurt your widdle feewings.

Stand strong against Rush Limbaugh’s Attacks — sign our petition, telling Rush what you think of his attacks on President Obama. We’ll send Limbaugh your comments.
I'm guessing talking to Rush about your bruised feelings will be about as effective as talking to Iran about their nuclear program.  And I'm still stymied by why the libtards are so threatened by conservative radio that they're up in arms over every little thing that's said.

If any of you send a coded message to Rush, please post it in the comments so we can all laugh at it too.

1 The funniest thing about all of this is that the Democrats are basically legitimizing Limbaugh and his opinions.  They find what he says to be so powerful that they now have a letter-drive to tell Limbaugh what people think?

I'll bet you anything that Limbaugh takes this and then reads some of the comments on the air.

Democrats were bragging about how the last 8 years Rush has fallen off because Republicans were in power (which is quite the opposite), but now they are only ensuring his voice becomes louder than ever.

2 *eyeroll*

Like people have been saying in various blog comments, funniest end of civilization ever.  I wonder if the ancient Romans, observing the fall of their empire, got as many laughs out of it as we are getting.

(I will read Gibbon one of these days.  I will, I will!)

3 CiC: This is part of the reason Rush, O'Reilly, et al. refused to mention Olbermann or Franken at all. They never wanted to legitimize them as rivals.

4 Dear Mr. Limbaugh,
Really, we need to get beyond this nonsense.
Obama is trying to bring us together.
Please take that into account before trashing him again.

Democrats and Republicans,
Every one of us,
All proud Americans,
Depend on his success.

Partisan sniping is not the answer.
I know we can all get along.
Now is the time for unity.
Keep that in mind.
Our country depends on it.
Shame on you if you can't accept that Change has come.

5 That's BEAUTIFUL, Sean.  I'm sure Rush will appreciate it.

7 Dear Mr. Limbaugh,
During this historic time, pointing out the socialistic agenda of our new President, does nothing to help him achieve the changes he hopes to bring.  The President clearly pointed out to the Republicans that they should not listen to you.  Sadly given the vote this evening in the house, too many of them are not following the guidance of the President.  If you continue to speak such truthful things about our President, the minority party will only strengthen their resolve to stand firm against the President's wishes.  Please remember this every day you are on the radio.
