Nectar of the fucking Gods

Love it, its probably my favorite soda. You'll find it mostly in Northcentral PA where it was created, though you can find it in other parts of PA as well.  It has a light and refreshing, slightly minty taste, and is great on a hot day.

1 And if you're ever in Kentucky, grab yourself and Ale-8.

And if you empty the bottle and fill it with Val-U-Rite, you get less hassle from the cops.  We know the deal.

6 I've got a half emptied 2-liter in the fridge, and another one on standby when that goes.

7 See what I mean, all you non-PA morons?  Gotta try it if you get a chance.

8 Frozen Run is so much better than that pinkish colored birch beer swill.

It's not a staple at chez-Joe like it seems to be for dpud, but Frozen Run gets two thumbs up.

PA is the land of good junk/snack food.  I swear there are a zillion little potato chip brands and the vast majority of them are head and shoulders above any national brand.

9 I wish it was a staple, Frozen Run doesn't stay on shelves long, it can be hit or miss.

As for the pinkish birch, are you talking about PA Dutch?  Yeah, its not that good.

And that is true, we're not only the land of good junk food, we're like the top producer of it in the US, from what I understand.

10 PA Dutch sounds right.

11 Good lord but I miss good cheese steaks and Tasty Cakes.  You're killing me here.

12 Great, now I want Tastykakes...I guess at least I can go get some.

13 Joe, thought so, but here's a pic of a PA Dutch Birch Beer can.

14 That's the stuff.  And definitely stay away from the diet variety.

Tastykakes, Pellman's cakes, Sweet Street.  Good stuff.

And of course, the ubiquitous home-made whoopie pie:
