I am pretty damn sure it's real, and it makes me mad. Like, "I probably shouldn't be blogging right now because I'm so mad" mad.
And also, I'm sick and fucking tired of disclaimers like this accompanying every story of Obama cultist violence:
I agree with people in the comments who say that the beating and maiming were political, and obviously so. Ashley wouldn’t have that wound on her face otherwise. What I am saying is that it’s unfair to generalize about Obama supporters based on the actions of one nut.
You know what, Ed is right. But this isn't "one nut." This is constant political violence aimed at McCain-Palin supporters across the nation. These people (the ones who carve up peoples faces, destroy vans, deface Norm Coleman's garage, beat McCain volunteers in NYC with their own signs) are fucking savages, and they're getting away with it because they know we'll roll over and not make any attempt to showcase the narrative of the angry left without fucking disclaimers.
So you know what? I think it did happen, and I am going to lay the blame right at Barack Obama's feet. Why? Here's Dear Leader on September 17:
"I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face."
"Get in their faces" they did, Obama.
I blame you. I blame you for saying that without qualification. I blame you for doing nothing to try to stop this cult of personality that has built around you. I blame you for the scars on this woman's face.
It's. All. Your. Fault.

No problem, and maybe my gut instinct on this one is off. If things are decaying into this though, God help us all.

I don't think the upside down B is necessarily proof of anything, if she was beaten and on the ground, that would explain it.
But, yes, I do blame the MSM for howling about how violent the GOP is and not saying one. damn. word. about stuff like this.

They kinda are, aren't they? That person in NYC assaulted the other day (fact); Coleman's house in Minnesota (fact); McCain/Palin bus shot at (fact); and so on...

Signs disappearing and being defaced. Obscenities from behind the gate at every official event. Palin shirt at a school is "racist." McCain sign in a business' window is "a slap in the face." And more serious vandalism.
You think Ayers hasn't been plotting this very thing for 40 years? Not to mention the rest of the commie terrorists Obama's chosen as "mentors" ("pal around" is a disgusting understatement).

Coleman's house in Minnesota (fact);
It's not just colemans, it's also Bachmann's (spelling? she ain't mine except for party, and the fact she's awesome.) and 2 other minnesotan republican politicians who had their private residences vandalized.

Key? Just a suggestion, I'm still skeptical about this, but I'm not going to dismiss it as a stunt either. I'm going to wait until we hear more about the police investigation.

I can't help but think you are kinda right Rob.
As for the knife, a single edged blade, or a dagger doesn't matter, you can use the flat at an obtuse angle to create those marks. Also you can see that there are area's where she was scratched more than once, in the right side up picture, look at the bottom loop of the backward B, where there are at least 3 distinct marks.
I'm not skeptical, but I am aware that it might be wrong. I'm leaning towards authentic. Also, Forged found this.
Doesn't prove anything, but she don't come off as a wacko, just a slightly less than average looking girl, who is cheerleading her team. I'm well schooled in wacko's, I don't see much of it in that short video.
