I cannot believe I'm surprised by this
And yet I am. Sotomayor backers are urging the press to go after Ricci.
Of course they are. Of course. Every so often my cockeyed optimism that the human race isn't completely worthless rears its ugly head. It never occurred to me that this would happen and yet, in hind sight, it's obvious it would.

A few quick points:
People for the American Way? I thought they shut down with the rise of Moveon and KOS. Guess I was wrong.
The Anita Hill comparison? One problem with that: Anita Hill made charges against Clarence Thomas and his personal actions off the bench. Ricci is being dragged around for filing a case that landed in Sotomayor's jurisdiction. But the MSM won't care about that.
Third point: Fuck them sideways. Just because.
