Green THIS, libtards

I suppose the good news is, the Obama Administration isn't trying to turn September 11 into a "Praise Jihad" holiday. Instead, Obumble and his band of merry imbeciles want to distort the tribute to the 2,996 people who lost their lives to Islamofascist terrorism into a treehugging festival.

Today, several Obama Administration officials -- including Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson, and Department of Energy Under Secretary Kristina Johnson -- and members of Green the Block held a press conference outside the West Wing offices of the White House to discuss opportunities in the new green economy and announce the first major initiative of Green the Block.

"From policy creation to community implementation, the Green the Block campaign wants to see access and opportunity created for all Americans, to build prosperity and a healthier planet for future generations," said Rev. Lennox Yearwood, Jr. of the Hip Hop Caucus. "The first milestone for Green the Block will be on our National Day of Service, September 11, 2009, where we will organize Green the Block service events around the country in coordination with the President's initiative, United We Serve."

There are only 11 national holidays, which leaves...crap, there's not supposed to be math here...oh gosh, 353 days other than a day when nearly 3,000 Americans died at the hands of terrorists that you imbeciles could use as your day to plant shrubs and refuse to flush your toilets even if it's brown and wear your solar-powered bras and pretend to be green for one day a year.  Do the idiots leading our country think there's any tie whatsoever between why our citizens were mass murdered and ecofascism?  Did I miss some proclamation from Osama bin Laden that if we just quit being so damn wasteful, he'd quit getting his jollies from killing people?

September 11 isn't a "National Day of Service", unless by "Service" you mean honoring the Americans who died in the terrorist attacks and honoring the men and women who take up arms to protect our country.  It doesn't matter how hard the Ognoramuses try to change the message of September 11, there's a large portion of the nation who aren't going to forget.
