I hope the Scots and Irish tell the EU to get fucked sideways, and play the pipes as loud as they can.  Enough of this bullshit.  Bagpipes played at full volume are hella loud, about 122 decibels.    So basically, this thing is a safety regulation, the EU wants to force pipers to either wear earplugs when they play or play quieter.  The EU needs to be told to stuff it when they start screwing with old traditions like this.
