There are speculations that this is related to the murder (assassination) of a local journalist.  They found a pretty big weapons cache.  The article also states the leader of the group that runs the bakery has a shady past.  The former leader was accused of molestation and rape of underage girls, and one of the potential heirs to his group was gunned down in 2005.
