Chupacabra?

Hardly, says I. This lady thinks she has chupacabra, I think she has feral Mexican Hairless Dogs, or a mutt with that breed, or a close relative. Look at the skin tone of the dog in the article, and the one in the Wiki page, note the shape of the ears. Its similar, and keep in mind, the 'chupacabra' has been dead awhile, plus it could be older, which may explain the wrinkles and ears sitting down on the head.

1 Hmm, I think that's the same type of creature that accounted for the Elmendorf Creature sightings. We've been seeing these things in Texas for a couple years now. All we know about them is that they're canines.

(PS, saying that this is a chupacabra isn't the same thing as saying that mysterious goat-sucking beasts with four fangs actually exist. What she's most likely saying, and what the vet is definitely saying, is that this is the creature that spawned the legends of chupacabras, sort of like how narwhals spawned the legends of unicorns.)
