Being coherent was never Meghan McCain's strong suit

She said the GOP needs to be more open to sex.  Then, Gov. Mark Sanford takes her advice and fraternizes with a Wise Latina WomanTM, and she acts all sad for the Republican Party

What gives, MegMeg?

1 I have never been able to understand how she graduated from Columbia. And then wrote for Newsweek. Here I am, laboring to get 20 hits a day on my blog, and Meghan McCain just graduates and gets a nice job at Newsweek, and the Daily Beast after that, and she can't even write. It's really not fair.

In fairness, though, I love reading Meghan, just for the schadenfreude factor. That piece was actually one of her more coherent columns.

2 Change your last name to McCain (or Specter or Snowe or Crist or Collins, etc.), fudge your bio a bit, and see what happens.

3 I love how whenever there's a sex scandal involving GOPers who cheat on their spouses, the left, the MSM (but I repeat myself) and the "moderate Repubs" all come out and castigate the party for being hypocrites.

The thing that always remains unsaid is that this puts them in the de-facto position that, well, adultery is actually kind of okay.

Ahhh yes, the Simpsons Paradox: Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

At least it's funnily predictable.

Don't just laugh or get angry, use it. Make it into a drinking game.

That way, when the end comes you'll be hammered and it won't seem so bad.
