  OK, so I bought a Marlin 336 in .35 Remington.  Should I stock up on 200-grain Remington softpoints, 150-grain Remington's, or the Hornady 200-grain flex-tip slugs that allow you to shoot a spitzer bullet out of a tubular magazine?

 

  Bonus question:  Should I add a tang sight, and then set the gun up for maximum flexibility by sighting in the open sights for 50 yards & the tang sight for 150-200 yards?

22 I'll answer that Russ, I put those flex tips in a Winchester .30-.30 and they didn't feed very well.
They were the first bullets run through it, but even after cleaning it they still didn't work very well the second time.
