Fuck You, Joseph Cao! Fuck You, Stupak Amendment Supporters! And Fuck You, Anybody who Supported Obamacare!

Fuck you, Joseph Cao. And fuck you too, supporters of the Stupak Amendment, that helped push Obamacare through the House tonight. Fuck you for what you did to every fucking American, including those not yet around. Fuck you with the molten hot hate of a person who fucking does not want to see this country slide down the fucking path of Euro Fucking Socialism. Fuck you up your fucking goatse loving goat fucking asses with the 1900 fucking page bill you didn't read but fucking passed. Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, fuck you!

Enjoy the ends of your Congressional careers, fuckfaces. And to those who supported this travesty, I hope you suffer the most under the new system we will get. Enjoy it, because Karma is a bitch.

Sadly, we have to hope this fucking pile of assfistery dies in the Senate. How fucking sad is that?

Some Saturday night hotassery

It's been a really rough week and I think all of us (by which I mean me) can use some loveliness.

Yes, I know, I know, I'm on a bit of a one track streak with my hotassery at the moment.  Blame it on my repeated viewings of The Proposal [shut up I am, in fact, a chick and I love Sandra Bullock and shut up].

Ladies and gents, I give you Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Reynolds.  Also, why is that sex tapes get released by everyone in the universe you would never ever ever ever want to see yet no so much the ones we want to view?  Such as theirs.  Though, hmmmm, that might cause the Earth to melt from the hotness like the center of the Sun.

The President visits Ft. Hood victims

Well, a president paid them a visit, anyway...

Former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura secretly visited Fort Hood last night and spent "considerable time" consoling those who were wounded in Thursday's shooting spree, Fox News has learned.

The Bushes entered and departed the sprawling military facility in secret, having told the base commander they did not want press coverage of their visit, a source told Fox News.

Meanwhile...

Yeah.

What is this? Dickensian England?

Nice to see that Madame Speaker thinks that we should reinstate debtor's prison.

Oh this will be spun as anything but that however that's the implication.  Can't afford to buy the $15,000 government mandated insurance?  Go to jail.  Actually, more chilling is the bit about if it's determined that the refusal to buy is "willful evasion".  Who decides what's willful?  What's the standard?  Yeah, that's not open for abuse.

DIAF, Madame Speaker, DIAF.

Yuppie douchebags want to silence the guns of Old Ironsides

I'm growing damned tired of suburbanites and yuppies setting up developments and then trying to use their money and political power to muscle locals around.  Now we have a bunch of yuppie shitbags who are griping about the flag ceremony performed by the USS Constitution.

How douchebaggy?

Miffed residents of a posh condo complex have invited the commanding officer of the USS Constitution over for a glass of wine so he can hear for himself that the frigate’s twice-daily cannon blasts - a tradition dating to 1798 - are “more disruptive to the neighborhood than you might have imagined.”

“Over the summer, we have entertained several times, and we have had guests sit up in shock when the cannon goes off,” the resident wrote. “It has also awakened them at 8 a.m. while they are vacationing and then blasted them again at sunset.”

This douchebaggy.  Did you think of warning your guests, dipshit?

They're demanding that there be less firings, and with a lower powder charge.  The commander of the USS Constitution,

Cooper, a 39-year-old Marshfield native, said he was surprised by the complaint, but he wants to work with the residents. “We’re hoping to find a way where we can be good neighbors and maintain the tradition,” he said.

You know what, I have a better idea, how about the next time a yuppie douche complains, his condo gets a fucking broadside?  Dickhead, you fucking moved to the port, you knew Our ship was there, you know what Our ship means to Our nation, you know they fire the cannons for the flag ceremony, and yet you move there, and demand what was there before you to change to your whim.  Fuck you, sit the fuck down, shut the fuck up, or move the fuck away from our fucking boat, you spoiled selfish yuppie piece of fucking trash.

It's All About The Counting Now

For the most part, all that can be done about Obamacare now is to flood the phone lines and watch the results. But, it appears that even though the plan appears to be as well thought out as my plans to get my wife to spend a few minutes of "alone time" with me, Granny McBotox is having trouble snagging the necessary votes.

Lets see what deals are made, and who votes which way. If I didn't have shit to do today, I would actually kinda watch the TV.

Finally: GOP Senator calls out Brady Fascists for their shameless behavior after shootings

Now, if we could just make the retards in media quit spouting off the Brady Campaign's lies and bullshit, we'd be set.  But at least someone has finally called the bastards out for their shameless behavior during events like these.

Chutzpah, thy name is Babs

Check out Sen. Barbara "Ma'am" Boxer talking about passing a shitty, economy-destroying "climate" bill out of committee over Republican objections...

Sen. Barbara Boxer, chairman of the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee, had delayed the crucial vote for days because of a Republican protest over whether the cost of the legislation had been fully examined. But the California Democrat moved quickly to pass the bill Thursday, which for the first time would set mandatory limits on heat-trapping gases, without any of the seven GOP senators on the panel present. The measure cleared the panel on a 11-1 vote.

Boxer said the Republican demand for more analysis was "duplicative and waste of taxpayer dollars." Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has agreed to do a full analysis on the final version of the legislation.

I would point out the irony of a Democrat whining about wasting taxpayer money, but I suspect that would result in blank stares from the likes of Boxer as her tiny insectoid brain struggled to comprehend the concept.

That's RACIST!

Seriously, it is.  I'd swear this political analyst was trying to figure out a way to conjure up the image of the lazy, shiftless black man without actually saying it.

“There may well be almost an unconscious effort on the part of the media to give Obama a bit more slack because he is more likable, because he is the first African-American president. That plays into it,” said Sherry Bebitch Jeffe, a political analyst at the University of Southern California.
Soft bigotry at its finest.

Rachel Maddow: Constitutional Scholar

Seriously, I thought that she was supposed to smart.

RACHEL MADDOW, HOST: Congressman Akin was not alone in stumbling over a little basic U.S. history. He had some good company in the top Republican in the House, Minority Leader John Boehner.

(VIDEOTAPE)

JOHN BOEHNER (R-OHIO.): This is my copy of the Constitution. And I'm gonna stand here with our Founding Fathers who wrote in the Preamble, "We hold these truths to be self-evident..."

(END VIDEOTAPE):

MADDOW (waving hands): Nnn, Constitution doesn't have a Preamble. Not. Nope. Stop it. That would be the Declaration of Independence. Ooh.

WTF Is Wrong With Wisconsin: No worries.

Shots fired just down the road from where I used to live:

There has been a shooting at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.  Waukesha police said it happened at about 3 p.m.

I hope they get the guy!
Police said they are not looking for a suspect.

What the FUCK?

They're kidding, right??

Okay, so I keep seeing these T-Mobile MyTouch 3G with Google pop-up ads (here's the site; click if you dare).  And they keep having these same four people in it, and so today there's one of these stupid pop-up ads where they walk around the screen and you have to find the hidden X to make them go away (somebody should rot in hell for inventing those damn things) and I say to myself "is that really Dana Carvey?"

Yes, Virginia, it is Dana Carvey.  And he's joined by Chevy Chase, Molly Shannon, and some guy who I have no idea who he is.  That's right, folks, nothing says high-tech modernity like a comedy lineup straight out of 1984!

Although to be fair, Chevy Chase has stopped impersonating Gerald Ford and is now doing a bang-on Dick Cheney, so he's at least contemporized.  Damn, he's let himself go.

But seriously, WTF?  Google has a gazillion dollars, and these are the lame-ass celebrity spokespeople that they showcase?  Three failed SNL former cast members and some guy who looks like Al Gore's half-wit stepbrother?  What's next, they'll try to go all edgy and get Andrew "Dice" Clay?

In honor of our illustrious blog host

It's time for a Weekend Western Thread! Yes, yes, the dear host of the site, despite being young enough to be told to GET OFF MY LAWN, is a true lover of old school westerns. Those newfangled talkies with the guns and the wire work and the Ryan Reynolds being hot like the center of the sun the 82 pound girls beating the hell out of a 300 pound linebacker are not his thing. It's all old school Clint, baby. And there's nothing wrong with that.

So here we go, it's time for another Westerns thread. Which ones do you love? Do you randomly shout SHAAAAAAANE for no reason? Share, my Morons, share!

Speaking of Shane:

I have the DVD set, but this is still kickass.  Just need Once Upon a Time in the West, and we're good to go.  Seriously, if you've never watched Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More or The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, do so, they're awesome.

A little levity

On an otherwise serious day, here's a little levity: my wife, possibly suffering from mental illness, has left me at home alone with the kids for ten days.  Mwu-hahahaha!

I know it's been a gazillion years since I posted regularly, but I thought it might be fun to chronicle the ups and downs.  Plus, without her nagging me to do stuff, I have all kinds of free time (I kid!).

Warhead technology's needed for power plants, isn't it?

Any bets on our pretty princess president lifting a pinky finger about this, other than to give a shout out to his buddy Ahmadinejad?

The UN's nuclear watchdog has asked Iran to explain evidence suggesting that Iranian scientists have experimented with an advanced nuclear warhead design, the Guardian has learned.

The very existence of the technology, known as a "two-point implosion" device, is officially secret in both the US and Britain, but according to previously unpublished documentation in a dossier compiled by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iranian scientists may have tested high-explosive components of the design. The development was today described by nuclear experts as "breathtaking" and has added urgency to the effort to find a diplomatic solution to the Iranian nuclear crisis.
Diplomatic solution?  Really?!

So, Are You Stimulated?

Ok, we know that the Funemployment jumped again. But remember how Obama claimed that he would "save or create" a bazillion and eleventy jobs with his Porkulus bill?

Ummm.....not so much.

  • Over 6,500 of all the “created or saved” jobs are cost-of-living adjustments (COLA), which is really just a raise of about 2% for 6,500 people. That’s not a job saved, no matter how you calculate it.
  • Over 6,000 of the jobs are federal work study jobs, which are part time jobs for needy students. As such, they’re not really “jobs” in the sense that most other federal agencies report job statistics (We don’t count full time college students as “unemployed” in the statistics.)
  • About half of the jobs (over 300,000) fall under the “State Fiscal Stabilization Fund”, which can be described like so: Your state (perhaps it rhymes with Balicornia) can’t afford all the programs it has running, but when the state government tries to raise taxes, people yell and scream and threaten to move. The federal government comes in with stimulus funds and subsidizes the state programs. Consider this a “reach-around” tax in which the state can’t raise taxes its citizens any more, but the federal government can. So the federal government just gives the state the money to keep running programs they can’t afford on their own.
  • There are, scattered hither and non, contracts and grants that state in no unclear language that “This project has no jobs created or retained” but lists dozens, if not hundreds, of jobs that have been “saved or created” by the project. It makes no sense whatsoever.
  • Not only that, but it appears as though more jobs were lost last month than Obama has "saved or created". So, in other words, no progress has been made at all under Obama. Things have actually become worse.

    Brainwashing

For the life of me, I'll never understand why people freak out about socialist medicine, yet don't say a fucking word about the state monopoly on the education system, or try and offer a bullshit excuse for it.  It's like they know state-run operations like that lead to disasters, gross inefficiency, corruption and tragedy, but they simply shut down their logical centers when it comes to public schools. Don't. Get. It.

All that said, this is incredibly disturbing, from a grade-schooler's public education materials, this I believe is in Dallas area, of all friggin' places,

Second Amendment: “We can get permission to own weapons to protect ourselves”

Fourth Amendment: “The police need a good reason to arrest someone. They usually need permission to search our homes.”

Be sure to listen to the audio from The Hostages.
