You remember General Honore, right?  He was the General who led the National Guard in getting order back in Louisiana, particularly when FEMA, state and local officials were too busy playing grabass to get anything accomplished.

Honore's probably most famous for telling a reporter who was pestering him that the reporter was "Stuck on Stupid."  But he should be most known for his decades excellent service to the American people and the men and women under his command.  His retirement plans involve working to teach preparedness to people in the event of an emergency.
