Fred News

Fred did a conference call with a good number of people in the Dextrosphere to give them a heads-up on what he's doing.  He's got an aggressive campaign schedule, and from the sounds of things, he's happy to be back in the South, where he's more at home.  He said he's gonna have a big endorsement (c'mon, be Rush!) announcement tomorrow.  Frank J. apparently asked if it was Bruce Lee during the conference call, because he kicked Chuck Norris' ass, heh.

In any case, Fred's still looking for funds, and if you've got a few shekels rattling around in your pocket that you can let go, I'm sure he'd put them to good use.  He's looking to get $540K for ads by tomorrow, he's at $490K now, so about 50K to go.

This is from Politico, so take it with a block of salt, but they're saying Mitt might bail on South Carolina and look elsewhere for support.  If that's true, then Fred has a huge opportunity to pick up loose voters.  As Allah notes, Mitt may be trying to pick up a win in Nevada, which, from Mitt's perspective makes sense, I'm guessing there are a lot of business types and Mormons out there who would be inclined to support him.

And I'm hoping Fred uses this story of Mike Huckabee supporting Democrats over his own, and calling fiscal conservatives "Shi'ite Republicans" and bludgeons Huckabee with it so hard the Hucktards finally are shamed out of their support of the ratbastard.  I'd never vote for Mike Huckabee.  Not now, not ever.  I wouldn't vote Mike Huckabee to be dogcatcher (even if his kid would find creative, cost-cutting ways to operate the pound, the sick fuck) let alone president.
