Oh, and a Moronosphere PSA, Malkin has registration up if you want to make a profile.

Chinese media thanks the Dalai Lama for calling for an end to violent Tibetan protests in their very own special way.

A new round of nasty Obama/Clinton slapfights on the horizon?

Muslihoon on the efforts of the LDS and Catholic churches to find converts in the Islamic world.

You cannot lay a hand on my pie.

Sockless Joe has more on the Obama fallout.

I find it interesting that Villaraigosa is playing with fire like this, given the fallout from Jamiel Shaw's murder by illegals.

We all know that Hillary hammering on Obama for elitism and trashing rural PA is hypocritical crap, it just took someone remembering the quote, and that person would be Conservative Belle

Hmm, I'll have to do a post with my own soundtrack later, but the Eggman has a post up asking what music would you play while slaying zombies.

MyVRWC has a good Gregalogue, I read it at The Daily Gut, but here's video.

Heh.

We're the Right Wing Freakshow now?

Funneh.

Baldi on Obama, people buying the Obama hype, and some conservatives falling into a bad habit of viewing black America as a collective group.  I think she's right that some conservatives at least subconsciously bought the nice guy post-racial image Obama brought.

Some of the anger toward the guy is over the top, and some feeling of betrayal might be causing that over the top reaction.  I would say that there are some conservatives who probably reacted in a hurt manner, not because of they bought the post-racial hype and felt betrayed, but because they bought the hype that he was a civil guy. I'd say they feel betrayed because they now know that was all bullshit too.  I think they were looking for a nostalgic Tip O'Neill/Reagan(not that I even remember the Reagan years, but I always hear this as the example)  type adversarial-but civil relationship and were disappointed that this guy didn't end up being that.  They bought the post-partisan rhetoric, at least subconsciously.

I can say, I never bought the Obama hype to the extent that I'd be hurt when I found out he was full of shit, but that probably has to do with the fact that I tend to be generally distrustful of people, and even moreso with politicians.  I did think he was a somewhat decent guy, in that you could be civil with him, but I was never smitten with him enough to be hurt when that turned out to be crap.  He can still get bent for trashing my state and home.

Israel refuses to provide anti-semite douchebag security.

Heh.  I can say the only Klingon word I know is the one used at the end of this, and that's because Mel Gibson was shouting it during the Passion episode of South Park.
