Obamassiah Calls for Permanent Spooky Lookin' Weapons Ban

He said it in Chicago, which as we know has been the where Jesse Jackson and douchebag in a frock Fr. "We'll snuff out gun store owners" Pfleger have been demonizing a gun shop owner. 

Our Lord and Savior then said unto the crowd:

"From South Central L.A. to Newark, New Jersey, there's an epidemic of violence that's sickening the soul of this nation," the Illinois senator told the crowd. "The violence is unacceptable and it's got to stop."

Interesting, I always thought that inner city crime was committed with cheap pistols either stolen or straw bought(both of which are obviously illegal).  But who am I to argue with He who Is? I guess if cheap pistols are what crimes are committed with, you restrict or ban assault rifles, makes sense to me!

And beyond that, do we notice that all these places where leftism rules that there are the most crimes committed? 

He also said government should support and fund more after-school programs to keep kids off the streets. But some of the burden must also be shouldered by residents who need to do more to raise and protect at-risk children, he added.

Oh, sure, nice little caveat, but we all know how liberal caveats work, eh?  A whole lot of denying constitutionally protected rights and negligible personal responsibility. 

People who recognize the importance of the Second Amendment better be careful here.  The 2008 election year is a minefield.  Obama and Hillary will do everything they can to take your rights and others rights away.  Mitt Romney also supports a ban.  Rudy says he'll leave it to the states, but who knows what he'll do should he get to the White House, and beyond that, what the morons in statehouses will do if left to their own.
