Another perfectly good cherished childhood memory crushed

When I was a kid my three favorite comic books were

1. Spiderman
2. X-Men
3. Jonah Hex

The first two had already been destroyed but now it appears Jonah Hex will join the list. At least if this trailer is any indication;

Is it really so difficult to stay in canon and go with the perfectly good Jonah Hex stories from the comics? Is that too freaking much to ask?

Two and a half minutes and they showed everything but the closing credits. I'm going to concentrate on how much i hate trailers in general rather than how they cranked out yet another boiler plate mountain of crap and stuck some famous character's name on it. This could have been acceptable if they'd called the main character "Bartholomew Brandenburk" or "Dirk Bastage". There is already some figure named J.Hex, and that wasn't him. Not at all.

And why the hell couldn't Kiefer Sutherland play John Constantine: he's blond, smokes, wears a trenchcoat and is an overconvidant smart ass in real life.
