“I’m a dentist and I don’t think this country is headed in the right direction.”
I was going to call your bullshit, but you're a dentist?
Well, in that case, fuck away!
"I'm a vagrant blogger and I don't think conventional physics theories are getting enough play vis a vis string theory."
"I'm a asteroid mining robot and I really like Jennifer Aniston's hair."
Could his being a dentist have less to do with the rest of his statement? Is there a word for completely unrelated expositional phrases in a sentence?

My last dentist was a fucking asshole. Treated his staff like shit and his patients not much better. Had the balls to brag he was once an olympic diver.
Fucking dentists. Assholes, every one of them.

See, you just don't understand him.
He's been to school. Like a bunch of schools. Possibly a university.
He's smarter than you.
I was watching Foxnews the other day when they had a physicist on who was talking about how the Moon is shrinking.
The hot newsreader said to him, "You're a scientist, is there any truth that people are affected by the full moon?" (paraphrase, but she definitely prefaced her comment with "you're a scientist").
He looked nonplussed for a minute as he groped for a way to answer the question that didn't include "You fool".
He said something happy but not really responsive.
I was hoping he would say something like, "I'm a physicist you fool, physics does not relate to human behavior".
People often think that learning in one field means they know more about another.

Technically, it's called Aied al Fitr. And you'd be welcome as all get out to mine.
