Construction starts again at North Korea's unfinished Ryugyong Hotel

The hotel is the famously hideous giant pyramid shaped building in Pyongyang.  Construction began in 1987, and halted in the early 90's.

Construction has started again, an Egyptian firm has begun refurbishing some of the upper levels of the building.  South Korean media believes it would cost about $2 billion to completely finish, and there are some architects who question if it would even be structurally sound if completed.
