Police say a man damaged five vehicles and urinated on other cars at the Volkswagen dealership.

A suspect was arrested after a bystander called Halton police. No clear motive has been determined for the attack.

“He was not a customer,” said Sgt. Brian Carr. “This was not directed at the dealership. It was just a random act.”

He added there are no signs that drugs, alcohol or mental health problems are connected to the case.

Police say a man drove into the dealership and rammed vehicles with his 2007 Mazda pickup truck, then drove through the front entrance way and began urinating on other parked vehicles.

He returned to his truck, grabbed a bottle of champagne and a glass and climbed onto the truck’s roof.

While there, the man was observed committing an indecent act and proceeded to throw objects at a witness.

Police arrived and arrested a suspect without incident.
