You dot teh ghey

Kinda interesting piece on ICANN (the people who establish .whatever on the intarwebs), and two parties competing to purchase, establish and operate the .gay domain.  Both of the parties are for-profit organizations, one is run by gay activists in NYC, the other is a European businessman, who isn't gay.  The dudes in NYC are arguing that a straight dude shouldn't be the one who gets .gay, which seems kinda discriminatory.  Hey, maybe the guy would do an awesome job running the domain, better than them, never know.  It's going to be interesting to see what ICANN allows as the intarwebs expands, what the criteria will be for the domains, and what the criteria will be for choosing who gets to buy and run them.

So I have to ask, will Robert Smigel buy up ambiguously.gay ?
