10,000BC: Sucks. Stone age empires using steel? Really? Really?

Tropic Thunder: Laughed my butt off.

One Eyed Monster: Funny, funny, funny.
I was looking forward to seeing 10,000BC.
I figured they couldn't screw up the history because we don't know much of what was going on then. I mean, maybe people did have war mammoths and used them for beasts of burden.
About 20 minutes in a guy had a steel sword.
Apcray.
How do you screw that up? It's the Stone Age. Characterized by the fact that metal working was an unknown art. You can tell by the name that people used stone for tools.
In other words, 10,000BC used Conan the Barbarian as a source.
It got worse from there.
Oh well.
10,000 BC -2stars. They owe me my hour and a half back.

Tropic Thunder
First I don't like Ben Stiller, he's like Jon Stewart but not funny. (and I didn't find Stewart funny long before he was all political, I stopped watching the Daily Show about 2 days after he took over)
I do like Jack Black even though he's been in some suck-ass movies.

They do a send-up of a bunch of movie scenes that are very darn funny.
My favorite being near the end when they do a copy of the scene at the bridge from Saving Private Ryan after the LT gets hit and is sort of stunned as people yell at him.
When Stiller comes back after going for his son, I laughed hard.
Laughed my butt off repeatedly. Jack Black is great in it, Ben Stiller even manages to make me laugh. He's never done that before. The first time I saw it I didn't realize that was Robert Downey.
Best of all? They practice good trigger discipline.

Don't be afraid of all the pr0n stars in it, it's probably R-Rated because of the one scene with some titties and all thef cursing.
Hilarious, a laugh a minute.
A Spoiler for one good example of its humor.
Highlight it as it's in white pixels.
Ron Jeremy, while being held in a guy's arms as he's dying, looks at the guy and says, "Remember that time I fucked that girl?" and dies.

Rent it. You'll be happy you did. Just make sure you don't mind lots of cussing as pr0n stars talk about pr0n.
Another spoiler as an example of why it's R-Rated
Scene cuts to girl shown from the waist up with exposed breasteses.
She's moaning and writhing saying, "Fuck me, yeah fuck me" and then says something like "Damn".
She gets up, you can see she's alone and wearing panties and stockings with garter, looks at the script, smacks herself in the forehead and says, " Harder. Fuck me harder,yeah  fuck me harder".
