See? This is what I'm talking about.
In my day, we knew how to handle kids like that.
He needed his ass kicked long before it went that far.

Well, at least he will have plenty of time to play WOW.

I was just talking about kicking the ass of D&D players.
This is what happens when you let them think they're +6 lightning bolt doesn't really translate into not getting their asses kicked.
As an aside, does anybody else think Dave@Garfield Ridge gets really pissed off every time he see's Tosh.0?
Tosh only needs an Ace to basically be Dave's blog.

Kid sounds looney bin to me. Of course, it amazes me when loonies get their asses kicked they tend to keep their looney-ness to themselves.
Reminds me of a story my Dad told me of when he was 13 or so. A mentally retarded kid lived down the road from them, and one of this kid’s “things” was to randomly attack people with no provocation. The kid was older than my Dad was, and quite a bit bigger. He attacked my Dad once, and Dad pushed him away and told him to stop or he was going to sock him one. The kid did it again, and Dad put him down in a manner only my old man can (seriously, if you knew my Dad, this story would have you in stitches). Dad thinks he broke the kid’s nose. Everyone on the block was mad at Dad for hitting him. “He is retarded” they said “he didn’t know what he was doing.” But amazingly enough, the kid went on attacking people just like always but never, and I mean NEVER, attacked my Dad again – which means two things:
1.) The kid was smart enough to know what he was doing, because he knew that attacking my Dad was going to get his ass kicked, and
2.) The kid had the ability to restrain himself and was not a puppet of his condition, because he stopped attacking my Dad, meaning he was knowingly and willfully attacking the people he attacked and that this was no uncontrollable impulse, but that because he was retarded, no one did anything about it and let him continue doing it.
So, I’m thinking that it would have done the kid a lot of good if more people had socked him one upon being attacked – he’d have stopped, and as a result would have become a better functioning member of society. As it was, his bad behavior was reinforced by there being no consequences, and he continued doing it. How is it that his parents did him any favors there? I’ll bet he is too dangerous today to be out in public because he is now a grown man who randomly attacks people, so, by molly-coddling their son, his parents doomed him to a life of state-sponsored institutionalization, when all they had to do was sock him one a few times. Just sayin’. This kid just needs to be socked one a few times, instead of being rewarded with a 105 day vacation during which I’m sure his parents will be too busy playing WoW to make sure he is miserable and never wants to do it again.
