PSA for pen junkies

Cross pens are Buy 1 Get 1 at Staples this week, just got a pair of Cross Aventura fountain pens.

They're no Montblanc 149, but they're nice looking and writing knockabout pens.  They have a wider selection of rollerball and ballpoint pens if you prefer.  If nothing else, they make for a reasonably priced token business gift or "I have no fucking clue what to get you" gift.

1 Thanks.  Now if you know a place where I can get refills for my Pelikan Rollerballs for under $5 a pop, that would be news I could use.

2 my dad's company bought some really shitty give away pens with his company's logo on them. They sucked so bad, you had to light a match under the tip to get ink to flow.

He was so embarrassed, he just took his home and gave them to us to use.

3 BiW, I'll see what I can scrounge up for you, under $5 is looking like a tough bill to fill.

4 What size?  338 is the standard for Pelikan rollerball pens, but they come in medium, fine and broad.  Did you have a preference beyond what's cheap?

5 Cheapest I'm coming up with is Fahrney's bulk rate, which is $6.16 a dozen.  It looks like Monteverde, which is a decent penmaker in their own right, makes a Pelikan compatible cartridge for under $5.
