It's not as emo as it looks

The combination of Ashley Todd getting mutilated and no one outside of the right-wing blogosphere caring about Obama's donation fraud has caused me to sink into my blogging safety niche. Ace has LOLcat blogging, I have movie blogging.

My movie of the day is Wristcutters: A Love Story.

It's pretty quirky and weird, but good.

Also, I found a reason for everyone to vote for McCain. I talked to the lady I interviewed with last month in DC, and she said that I'm her first choice, but the position is on hold. Their organization is waiting to see if the economy gets better and to see who wins the election. Given that this is an anti-earmark, anti-spending organization, I think a McCain win will help me out a lot.

1 Uh dude? Don't go out on a limb on this Ashley Todd thing, it's looking like she may have faked it. Maybe not, but just keep a skeptical eye on it until proven either way

4 The cops are contesting her story, her testimony conflicts with ATM camera footage, they're asking her to do a polygraph etc etc. Just wait until the thing is confirmed, or we look fucking stupid and the media will seize on this to harp on for the next two weeks, as an excuse to ignore ACORN and every other piece of democratic violence and sleaze. Is it not too much to ask we not put our foot in every goddamn bear trap from here to the election? Just wait to see what the cops say.

Hugh Hewitt has already jumped the gun an mentioned this on TV, if she turns out a hoaxer, it's Barrak's very own Joe the plumber. If this dumb bitch faked it thinking she was 'helping the cause', I will personally fly out there and murder her.

5 Amos - I think you need to be very very cautious about what you say, because it certainly sounds to me like you have no problems at all advocating violence against a woman. That is not cool and is flatly unacceptable.

If you look on this very site, you'll see that there is a disagreement as to whether or not the story is credible. Also, I was not being bitchy, I was asking about evidence since, at the time that I posted my comment, the information you're now referencing had not yet surfaced. The vast, vast majority of comments I've seen have expressed concern that we wait and see what the police say.

7 The cops now say the story is fake and she confessed to fabricating the whole thing. This is all we're going to hear about for the next week at least, ACORN off the front page. We needed to get some penetration through the media screen about Barry O's nasty connections, that's all going to be muddied now. The race as close as it is and McCain behind, we could see an Obama presidency because of this stupid, stupid woman.

Un. Fucking. Believable.
