I heart Colorado

This is going to seem insensitive, but this is part of why Colorado is awesome.

Someone died skiing.

This weekend.

Yep, it's July.

And yet, only two hours from where he died, it was hot enough today to take the kiddos swimming.

When I lived in SoCal, I went skiing up at Mammoth on Saturday, then came back and played volleyball at the beach on Sunday. Awesome, except that I was so sunburned from skiing that I couldn't face the sun when I was playing volleyball.

Anyway, CO and CA are both blessed in geography and weather.
