DPUD has graciously allowed me to begin guest posting on his site and asked me to do an introductory post.  In compliance with his wishes here goes:
Obviously my name is Chad and  I am just a typical middle aged white guy - a member of the melanin challenged phallocracy.

 I grew up in Montana joined the service right out of high school and spent 14 years total active and reserve time.  I have been a dishwasher, busted sod for a landscaping service, security guard, radio DJ, drove M60A1 Tanks, been a medic and a hospital corpsman, worked at a Plasma lab, been an unsuccessful Network Admin (not my fault) done both hardware and software testing and am currently back in school working on a computer science degree. 

Politically I would describe myself as neutral on social policies and conservative on economic and national defense but not doctrinaire.  I don't belive in change for change's sake but I also believe that assumptions must be constantly tested.  If Heinlein had led a political movement I would probably be a Heinleinian.  Since that isn't really an option at the moment I affiliate with the GOP. 

That would be about it.  It probably says something about me that my life can be summed up in two paragraphs (*cough* anti-social loser *cough*).  I am on twitter using the name Kurulounge (the name of my personal blog) so if you want to tell me what an idiot I am in front of God and the world that would be a good way to do it.  As well as commenting here of course.
