Althouse is hard to put into a category.
She has all the hallmarks of a doctrinaire leftist, and she often comes across as one, but she's not. I've always though she's one of the more interesting bloggers on the web. Her comments and trackbacks are fun too as she's called a tool of: The Patriarchy, The Wingnutosphere, The Sinestrosphere and more. Often in the same thread.
I've picked on her for being "fooled" by Obama and now saying, "Where's the Obama I was promised?".
But when she's skewering a self-important/toolistic lefty, she's about funny.
What people?! The people! The people! You know: THE PEOPLE!!!! The PEOPLE WITH GUNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSS.........
