Ghost towns
There really is something eerie about them, particularly the Soviet ones, where people were made to leave immediately, and all their belongings left behind. I'll make you take a detour through kishnevi's place to get to the article. We of course have a well known ghost town...well, okay, maybe it isn't technically a ghost town, as there are a few people living there still.

I thought they forced out the rest of the people from Centralia early this year? Dude, I'm just waiting for my offices to be swallowed up by a coal mine collapse any second now. Go Electric City! Go!

I know there were a couple of hold outs left, but I thought the conditions got so bad it was too dangerous to let them stay, no matter what. I'm pretty sure there were at least plans to force everyone out, if they actually did it I don't know.

You're right, I do need to start doing them again, they take a while because there's just a ton of sites to sift through, I was getting a bit burned out by them.
