In Colorado in 2008, the patient traveled to Uganda, the patient had visited a cave and encountered fruit bats, which can carry the Marburg virus.  The CDC says that no one else has been infected in the US.  For those that need a refresher, the Ebola virus is 80% fatal, and is pretty much the most horrible death imaginable, Marburg is almost the exact same virus, and produces pretty much the same terrible, terrible death.
