I'm gonna take a quick break from my drinking to note that one of my local PBS stations is running a documentary right this very minute on the Carter campaign. 

They've already noted that he had the audacity (not a direct quote) to believe that he thought that his single term as Governor of Georgia qualified him to be President, how he was surrounded by "colorful" characters, and how his campaign came out of nowhere to win the Dem primaries.

Let's just pray to God that there's a new Reagan at the end of this coming four-year tunnel.

Now, back to drinking.  A lot.
