Did Burt Gummer move to California?

I know what an assault rifle is, but what's an assault home?

Mudslides sweep away cars, assault homes near LA

Yeah, I know. Stop trying to steal Taranto's schtick.

Edited for bad editing.

(Insert your headline here)

Put your own headline up there. Make it funny, I have a reputation to uphold. Something to do with gay, retarded Vikings.

Words fail me on this. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to laugh, side with the school or get OUTRAGED!!!!!!
quote
A male student at Garfield-Palouse High School in Palouse is a cheerleader but he isn't content with doing typical male cheerleader stunts. He wants to do the same dances and kicks and fist pumps as the females, but his mom says school administrators are discriminating against him and preventing him from cheering.

Okay so far, some guy wants to be like the girl cheerleaders instead of the boy cheerleaders. Eh, neither that funny nor that OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!
Here's where the confusion comes in
"I think the combination of a bi-racial, mentally challenged gay male may be too much for them,"

Ummmmm, ya think?
I might be on the school's side on this, depending on how "mentally challenged" he is and how flamingly gay. They interview him, he doesn't look too retarded. They show him in the cheerleader routine just standing there raising his hands with the girls but not dancing around.

With the mentally retarded, there's a fine line between cheering for and laughing at.
Especially in high school.
A flamingly gay, mentally retarded guy prancing around with little girls who weigh half as much as he does might just cross the line.

Humpday highlights

Updated below the fold
I'm stuck inside, even Kagogi The Destroyer ain't liking the foot deep snow. He's kind of lazy so he doesn't like the hopping walk he needs to do.
It's tough being horizontal in a vertical world.
So I figured I'd post some pics of my fine, Mustang GT convertible.
I took them out of my bedroom window.

In a little while, I'll put the top down so you can get the full effect.

Friday Night random crap

At least one of you is smart enough to recognize how awfully horribly wrong this is.

And just in case any of you morons are still running IE6 on XP, this is a friendly reminder that you're asking to have your computer raped like the new fish in the prison.

The Dude's solo is so money

So, a bunch of pop music's biggest stars have come together to raise money for the earthquake victims in Haiti by doing a remake of "We Are the World," which is a nice gesture. Good on them.

According to this story, several generations of stars came together to record the benefit song. Everyone from Tony Bennett, Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys, and Barbra Streisand to the Jonas Brothers, Pink, Snoop Dogg, Vince Vaughn and Jeff Bridges are lending their vocal talents to the effort.

Wait, Vince Vaughn and Jeff Bridges? What the fuck?

Out of idle curiosity

Since I was a.  watching The Big Bang Theory (oh Sheldon ilu) episode where Leonard discovers that Penny believes in psychics but not crystal power and b.  I was reading a climategate post where a hilarious the moon landing was faked discussion broke out in the comments, I was wondering what conspiracy theories/weird crap my fellow Morons believe and/or take glee in pretending to believe.

I'll humiliate myself nobly go first.  Since this is going to be a bit long, I'll put it below the fold.
