And What Comes After Catharsis?

I won't even attempt to top the following piece by Victor Davis Hanson, so go and read it all your lonesome. But, this paragraph triggered a thought in my head:

Politics is high-stakes poker with real losers and winners, not a mere parlor game. The country voted for the party of Pelosi, Reid, and Obama, and for once such statists are governing in the manner of their rhetoric. Time will soon tell whether this strange American experience is transitory and so becomes a needed catharsis, or whether it will be institutionalized and thus result in an enduring tragedy — this rare moment when the dreams of a zealous few are at last becoming the nightmares of a complacent many.

Right there,VDH explains what has and is happening before our very eyes. We are seeing the rise of a tyranny of the minority. Not minority in the sense of race, gender, religion, or hamster preference, but the imposition of the will of a political minority (at least polling wise) by its foolish leadership against the wishes of the now majority of people who oppose what is happening. What is most galling is how with every new poll, every politician "retiring" in the face of bad news, and every electoral humiliation, the left seems intent on pushing faster and harder, as if to stick the middle finger in the eye of America.

Well, I have something to say, as a member of the majority of Americans:

Stay classy, NJ teacher union thugs

From a memo the union released,

The Record of Bergen County obtained the Bergen County Education Association memo that includes a closing prayer:

"Dear Lord this year you have taken away my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze, my favorite actress, Farrah Fawcett, my favorite singer, Michael Jackson, and my favorite salesman, Billy Mays. I just wanted to let you know that Chris Christie is my favorite governor."

More Teabagging Violence, Rudeness, And Death Threats

Yeah, those damn teabaggers, wishing for death to befall a politician. Fucking Christianist inbred bigots. Jeebus horsecocking Christ, what the fuckingly fucked up fuckjousting with a bisexual chimp are those teabaggers doing? Wishing death on people? Fuck the world with a goathorn!

The Record of Bergen County obtained the Bergen County Education Association memo that includes a closing prayer:

Oh, since it was used by a Union Thug against a Republican, I guess it's kosher, right?

Association president Joe Coppola says the "prayer" was a joke and was never meant to be made public.

Oh, a fucking comedian! Well played, Vaudeville! And while you are at it, can I just say (in joke form) that it would be really fucking awesome if you were sodomized unwillingly by the New Jersey Devil with the North Goalpost from Giants Stadium coated in Fuck Sundae flavoring? Because that is a fucking awesome joke, isn't it, Assfister McGee? Man, I fucking laughed my ass all the way to the River of Awesome with that one.

Fuck you, assholes. Fuck you with the wastewater from the Fuckriver of Fuck. Fuck you for telling us we can't make fucking (non violent and non death wish-y) jokes about your politicians, but the moment you crack one on us, we are supposed to just laugh it off?

Well, fuck you, the snatch end of a Bob Crane video. Fuck you forever, get a real fucking job, and leave the comedy to Jonathan Winters.

An Open Letter To Congressman Jim Moran

Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you forever, tentacle rape style from the cockmonkeyed treehouse of fuck. Fuck you for lying about current opponents of Obamacare. Fuck you for lying about how we operate and view the world. And fuckingly fuck you fuckheadedly for fucking lying about Ronald Reagan and claiming his support for freeing people is a terrorist act.

Fuck you, Congressman Moran. Fuck you, for you don't know me. You don't know what it's like for me to see damn near half of my fucking paycheck stolen from me by an etch a sketch style fuckface such as you. You don't know how much it hurts me to see my freedom limited without my consent. You don't know how it hurts me to see my daughter's future given the public park bathroom greeting through shitty and rationed care. You don't understand how much it hurts to see my voice ignored and ridiculed. And fuck you for trying to take a logical leap of faith bigger than the one that Indiana Jones took by trying to claim that my non violent opposition to your votes puts me in the same cohort with violent freaks.

So fuck off, Congressman. Fuck off with your soon to be minority status. And get fucked with the fuckmagnets of fury. I can't wait for November.

So Racism Really Did Exist At The Tea Parties After All

Yeah.

They’ve been called Oreos, traitors and Uncle Toms, and are used to having to defend their values. Now black conservatives are really taking heat for their involvement in the mostly white tea party movement — and for having the audacity to oppose the policies of the nation’s first black president.

“I’ve been told I hate myself. I’ve been called an Uncle Tom. I’ve been told I’m a spook at the door,” said Timothy F. Johnson, chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, a group of black conservatives who support free market principles and limited government.

Here's What I Think Of Your Call For Civility

This DNC Press Release Politico Article seems to be genuinely dismayed that our congressbetters have not been treated warmly by the lumpenproletariat as they return home bearing the spoils of class warfare and gifts of Obamacare. Witness the plight of some Democrats going home to New Hampshire.

While the landmark health care reform law is driving much of the hostility, at a handful of events here in the week after its passage, voters expressed profound cynicism and suspicion not just about the legislation but about Washington, government and virtually everything that came out of their legislators’ mouths.

A man who did not want to be identified said he pulled Hodes aside at the Manchester event to ask him why he wasn’t wearing a wedding ring. The congressman told him he’s allergic to gold. His constituent remained skeptical.

“It’s a satisfactory answer, but I don’t know if it’s true,” the man said afterward, citing “all the improprieties out there” as the reason he inquired.

For her part, at back-to-back town hall meetings in Bedford and Merrimack, Shea-Porter faced consistent boos, heckles and catcalls after almost every point she rattled off in defense of her vote.

Despite an effort to accommodate questions from the raucous crowds with a ticketed lottery system and a two-minute time limit for speakers, the congresswoman got little credit from the audience. If anything, it gave her opponents fresh ammunition.

"Why can't we ask a question?" yelled one man, objecting to a format that randomly selected numbers out of a tub of tickets to choose questioners.

"Are you a princess or a representative?" chastised one woman.

Yet another man was miffed that he received a form letter from the representative's office in response to six specific questions he sent her by mail.

"I expect a reply. I heard a position statement that did not answer any of my questions," complained Ben Niles of Merrimack.

Oh, and Lefties, I am amused by your sudden calls for civility, now that you are in the minority. In fact, I have a response.

Can We Call This Blood Money?

Well, it looks as though the way to a pro-life Democrat's vote is earmarks, earmarks, and more earmarks.

Rep. Jerry Costello of Illinois.: $1,418.7 million ($256.4 million in 2010)

Rep. Solomon Ortiz of Texas: $618 million ($726.1 million in 2010)

Stupak of Michigan: $578.9 million

Rep. Steve Driehaus of Ohio: $332.2 million

Rep. Marcy Kaptur of Ohio: $294 million ($305.7 million in 2010)

Rep. Kathy Dahlkemper of Pennsylvania: $236.8 million ($54 million in 2010)

Rep. James Oberstar of Minnesota.: $207 million ($226 million in 2010)

Rep. Brad Ellsworth of Indiana.: $115.4 million ($82.3 million in 2010)

Rep. Charles Wilson of Ohio: $84 million ($62.3 million in 2010)

Rep. Paul Kanjorski of Pennsylvania.: $67.1 million

Rep. Joseph Donnelly of Indiana: $19.8 million ($11.65 million in 2010)

Fuck them. Fuck all of them. Fuck them for selling out their alleged position on pro-life issues for pork spending. The way this vote came down, this should be considered blood money.

But one good thing has come about: no longer can a Democrat seriously be considered pro-life.

are our fundamentalist zealots different than the ones we fight in afghan and iraq?

Which of course is libspeak for, Hey, let's have a brutal crackdown on these wingnutty wingnuts who are daring to speak out against Marxism and Marxist policies

The left are made up of totalitarian monsters, make no mistake about it.  As for Sanchez?  Another Ted Kennedy type, who got away with getting shitfaced and killing someone with their car.  You ought to be rotting in a jail cell Sanchez, you have no place in civil society.

Alea Iacta Est, Indeed

Victor Davis Hanson explains the significance of last night's vote as only he can. While the article is (as always) the awesomest of awesomes, this line caught my attention.

Subscript: Do Democrats realize that we really have crossed the Rubicon? In the future when the Republicans gain majorities (and they will), the liberal modus operandi will be the model—bare 51% majorities, reconciliation, the nuclear option, talk of deem and pass, not a single Democrat vote—all ends justifying the means in order to radically restructure vast swaths of American economic and social life. Is someone unhinged at the DNC? They just blew up any shred of bipartisan consensus when their President polls below 50%, the Democratically-controlled Congress below 20%, and health care reform less than 50%. Usually unpopular leaders and their unpopular ideas seek the shelter of minority rights and prerogatives. What will they do when they are in the minority—since they’ve entered the arena, boasted “let the games begin” and shouted “by any means necessary”?

Indeed, Professor. But please allow me to add on little addendum. By virtue of the means and tactics used in the Obamacare Debacle, the left has also crossed the Rubicon of the electoral relationship between voters and votees. The left has demonstrated that the now majority will of the people should be ignored. The left has demonstrated that if the people say, "No Fucking Way!", you just brush them aside. The left has demonstrated that their agenda trumps electoral politics. And the left has demonstrated that they hold everybody not of their own to not even be worthy to share the same air, space, time, depth, and sound as them.

The Rubicon has been breached. The voters no longer matter to the elected and their enablers. The left has deemed that they want to play rough. And to them, I (only rhetorically) say:

Why am I not surprised?

Obamacare is finally being debated, literally, in the dead of night, here, on CSPAN. (If you're not an insomniac, don't bother clicking.)

Well, at least one of Teh Won's campaign promises has finally come true.

Yeah.

Oops: That's just a stream of whatever they're showing right now, which isn't actually live from Capitol Hill.  Re-runs from the last few days, it turns out.

My bad. Still, I can perhaps be forgiven for thinking they'd be debating this horrible piece of shit while most of us are slumbering.  Wouldn't put it past them.

Sen. Coburn May Be On To Something

Look at what may be developing in North Dakota.

“This “Bismarck Bank Job” provision looks like exactly the sort of backroom deal that makes the American people hate Washington and the whole process that has led to this massive, awful government takeover of our health care.  Rep. Earl Pomeroy, the only House Member from the State of North Dakota has some questions to answer.  Did he know about this provision?  Was it inserted in an attempt to secure his support for the health care bill?

Democratic Leaders owe the American people an explanation: did they cut a backroom deal on this issue?  What other backroom deals have they cut in their eleventh-hour push to jam through a bill that the American people have soundly rejected?  The American people want answers, and they deserve the truth.”

Some Numbers To Chew On

How much you want to bet that breast cancer survival rates will plunge if Obamacare passes while the lead time between discovery of a lump and an effective consultation with a specialist/surgeon team will go from two to three weeks to whenever a bureaucrat approves you will increase? How much you want to bet that fewer doctors will want to get into, or stay in, practice if Government meddling takes place? And how much you want to bet that O-care will actually make costs increase? Tell me I am wrong, and right about now, I will do to your person what William Tecumseh Sherman wanted to do to Georgia, but held back out of courtesy.

Yeah, fuck you O-care supporters. Fuck you with the used condom from that special chicken wrapped soaked in hate and around my boot. Fuck you for wanting to destroy everything and everybody I hold dear by replacing excellent service with the equivalent of "that guy" from a frat party who claims to know how to beat a drug test and/or avoid pregnancy with a can of Dr. Pepper. Fuck you for trying to demonize medical and insurance professionals who already suffer under the fucking yoke of legal harassment, and yet still are able to help people as best as they can. And fucking fuck you fuckrancid style with the fucking fuckbeagle of fuckingly fucked up fuckwitlessness for thinking that people would be better off with rationed or completely unobtainable care.

Fuck off, and stand in the back of the line you want all of us to endure.

Sure, you wanna compare Glenn Beck to the Hitlerjugend?

So, apparently Glenn Beck at some point noted that some Catholic priests and bishops reject the "social justice" (read: cede the church's traditional role in society as provider of aid to those in need and agitate for socialism) agenda, and advocates leaving churches that advocate "social justice" for ones that oppose it.  Some tool named Anthony Stevens-Arroyo in the WaPo compared him to the Hitler Youth.  Let's talk about Hitler Youth, Mr. Stevens-Arroyo,

Deem This!

When Alex referenced the brazen attempts by the House Democrats, under the guise of Louise Slaughter's suggestion that the House may "deem" the Senate Healthcare Bill as passed without a vote, I thought it too ridiculous of an idea to become reality. Silly me. I thought a Bill, the exact same Bill in both houses, had to be voted upon before it could be presented for Presidential Signature. Oh well. How dare I think of such a radical idea. How dare I think the House Democrats would respect the Constitution and at least vote for a procedure (reconciliation) that, while politically toxic, is at least a vote on legislation. And how dare I think that the left in this country would step back from their bitterly divisive push for a bill that has approval ratings between PMS and diarrhea and say, "Yeah, we want this bill. But just not this way. Some things are too sacred."

Well, I guess I was mistaken. I guess this is how the left wants to play. In that vein, please allow me to offer my opinion on the matter:
