Here's the thought that occurred to me when I saw Roseanne Barr's disgraceful "Hitler eating Jew cookies" pictures (worse than it sounds):
Instead of wallowing in tapped-out anti-semitism, why don't one of these bold comic visionaries indulge in some home-grown racism and shoot KKK-style photos? If Roseanne wanted to be topical, and get lots of attention, she should have put on a white hood and burned a cross with the White House projected behind her. That'd be provocative, bold, and original. Yet this would never, ever be done (nor should it be done: let me be very clear here and say that cross burning is the province of lowlifes and cretins).
Why is it that one type of racism is so clearly understood (and rightfully reviled), yet another so delightfully indulged in? We're talking about 6,000,000+ dead people here, whose spouses and siblings and children are still alive, having to see this bulbous piece of shit take photos like this. What photographer in their right mind takes this picture? What person poses in it? Neither, in my opinion, belongs in polite society. They should both be ostracized.
Wretched idiots.

I mean, how will we be able to be warned of the looming zombie stripper menace?
A contractor’s traffic sign on the Powell just east of the Ross Island Bridge overnight Wednesday read “Caution zombie strippers."
The sign had been switched off by Thursday morning.

The problem he's got -- 47% of the people who've got coverage don't want change. They don't like what they're hearing. Now, they may not know what's good for them
And there it fucking is. These people are tyrants, and nothing less. Anyone else thinking of this CS Lewis quote?
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
They're losing what what was probably their only shot at Marxist medicine, they can't handle it, and as a result I fully expect to see them slip and reveal their true selves even more in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, DiFi has someone else lay down the law lays down the law with some elderly misfits. Get it through your head, gramps, dissent is patriotic, until you dissent against the Democrat establishment, then it's off to jail.

The only way you can get a legal handgun in NYC is to get a license to privately own one is from the NYPD. And the NYPD only issues them if you are über-rich and politically connected, really politically connected, a celebrity, if you are a courier picking up money or other valuable items, certain diamond and luxury goods merchants, you work in private security, and possibly if you're a retired NYPD (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that or any of the others). Other than that, you're fucked. If you want a long gun in NY, you have to have it registered and go through a bunch of red tape nonsense.
There's a loophole that some New Yorkers discovered to escape registration of firearms, and that is muzzleloading black powder (maybe cap and ball as well, I think it's basically if it doesn't fire an actual cartridge or shell) firearms aren't regulated by the BATFE like normal firearms, and NY and NYC laws didn't bother to include them in their registration laws, probably because of that. So a NYC social worker that used to be a Revolutionary War reenactor decided to have a Tennessee gunsmith make him a replica of a period flintlock, it's a pretty sweet rifle, there's a pic in the link. Nanny Bloomberg has sent the NYPD to harrass this guy and the gunsmith, in order try and figure out some excuse to justify seizing his rifle.
Bloomberg can't nail him on illegal possession of a firearm, because the dude isn't breaking any firearms laws. Beyond that, the guy doesn't have any black powder or musket balls for his rifle, so he can't even fire it right now. Supposedly, they're offering him a permit to make things go away so that the rifle can be "licensed", but thus far he's told them they can kiss his frizzen. Dude is ready to take it to the Supreme Court if they do anything.
It doesn't suprise me that Nanny Bloomberg is doing this, he's basically been fighting a back and forth with pro-2nd activists for years, so any chance the petty tyrant has to try and fuck with someone who believes in the Second Amendment, he does so with zeal.

But at least he openly and unabashedly admits to his stupidity and douchebaggery.
During his speech at a National Press Club luncheon, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Democratic Congressman John Conyers (D-Mich.), questioned the point of lawmakers reading the health care bill.“I love these members, they get up and say, ‘Read the bill,What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?
Umm....isn't that what you, as a fucking elected representative of the fucking people who fucking sent your corrupt, sorry ass to Congress, are supposed to fucking do? Is that too much to fucking ask, you fucking testament to the ills of lifetime, gerrymandered seats?
Here's a thought: maybe if the fucking bill is too complicated, either fucking read the fucking thing first, and take your fucking time to do so, or trim down the dipshittery that makes it difficult to comprehend. Is that too fucking much to fucking ask?

Details on the town hall meeting are over at Gateway Pundit, linked above. Eddie, I expect pictures, unless they're criminally incriminating.
After the incident at her office on Friday, July 17, 2009, Senator McCaskill has arranged for her district director, Michelle Sherod to meet with constituents at a town hall meeting Monday night. AFPMO will be moderating the meeting and Ms Sherod will be taking questions for the Senator.
...
Now here's the latest...
The Far-Left kooks at Daily Kos are promoting the open meeting tomorrow and are planning on crashing the event.
This is your opportunity to speak out for the future of your country, your children and your freedoms. This is your chance to speak out against the devastatation of the Obama-Pelosi-Reid Regime.
** Please plan on attending this meeting tomorrow. **

If anyone had said the same of Hillary Clinton (before she became the enemy of The One, and after she became His Secretary of State, I mean) I'm pretty sure there would have been hell to pay. Funny, that.

In comments made after her vote against the 2nd amendment provision, McCaskill said, “this is a foot in the door that would require, for example, the laws in Vermont on gay marriage to be enforced in Missouri.â€
Now, first of all, if you are opposed to the reciprocity of Concealed Carry, that's fine. But what relevance did gay marriage in Vermont have to do with this? Just engaging in a little gay baiting to appease the backwater rubes in Sedalia or Hayti, Senator?
Also, IIRC, the reciprocity only applied to states which also had a "shall issue" CCW law on the books, so if a state didn't allow CCW, I couldn't bring my concealed weapon into that state. This goes for McCaskill's Gay Marriage analogy. Vermont? Fine. Whatever. But Missouri? We do not have a law on the books allowing gay marriage, so for now, the issue of MO having to accept a VT gay marriage license is moot until MO allows gay marriage.
So, Senator, what the fuck is your problem? Trying to justify a vote to us hayseeds back home is one thing, but to insult people without knowledge of what you are talking about is another. And I really want to hear the response from the various gay rights groups in MO that helped her win election. I'm sure the condemnation from them over this statement will rival a rock concert.

The healthcare reform bill approved this week by a Senate committee contains language that allows state authorities to intervene in a citizen’s home to ensure that both adult and children family members are properly immunized, according to a report by CNSNews. The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pension Committee issued a press release this week that summarizes some of the bill’s language. According to the summary, the bill “authorizes a demonstration program to improve immunization coverage. Under this program, CDC [Centers for Disease Control] will provide grants to states to improve immunization coverage of children, adolescents, and adults through the use of evidence-based interventions. “States may use funds to implement interventions that are recommended by the Community Preventive Services Task Force, such as reminders or recalls for patients or providers, or home visits.â€Lots more good stuff at the link.
