Abortion clinic shut down after federal raid in Philly
Beyond the obvious ghoulish horrorshow of performing abortion after abortion, the clinic apparently was about as sanitary as a Civil War field hospital,
This apparently was discovered after the not-so-good doctor had a patient die during an abortion, and high painkiller levels were found in initial forensic testing of the patient. The feds are also looking into whether illegal late term abortions were performed in the clinic. The doctor's license is currently revoked.
Pennsylvania regulators say federal raids at a Philadelphia clinic where abortions are performed found "deplorable and unsanitary" conditions, including blood on the floor and parts of aborted fetuses in jars.

Those dangerous Americans
This has nothing to do with implementing a civilian national security force to control those nasty teabaggers, I'm sure.
On a side note, can someone explain to me how the examples Napolitano gives of domestic terrorism aren't making a case for locking down immigration from countries that are known sponsors of terrorism?
Americans who turn to terrorism and plot against the U.S. are now as big a concern as international terrorists, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Sunday.I'm also certain this doesn't mean we're taking the focus off finding Osama bin Laden, or crushing the Taliban, or securing democracy in Iraq. Because our government would never turn against its own people rather than focusing on providing for the common defense, would it?

So, That's How It's Going To Be, Eh?
Madame Speaker thinks she can ram Obamacare through?
Lemme see. After months of polling, special elections, legislative stalemates, massive and growing to massiver disapproval numbers, shady bribes and backroom deals, protests, and a general sentiment that this bill will be so unpopular, Charles Manson trying to give unwanted goatse giveaways will be more popular than this bill, Madame Speaker thinks this is a spiffy idea?
Really? I mean, fucking really?
Well, okay.

You know who can eat a dick?
California state Sen. Alan Lowenthal (D-Ickeater), that's who:
In short, please die in a fire, you cock-smoking piece of shit.
(h/t)
State lawmakers are taking aim at what some of them see as a menace to California's environment: free parking.Hey, eater of dicks, you might not have noticed, but we've pretty much got the shittiest economy since the Joad family rolled into the state. That has some rather significant social and economic costs, too. Oh, silly me, you're too busy gobbling cocks up in Sacramento to notice trivial shit like that. Or, for that matter, to realize how deeply unpopular raising more fucking fees on the backs of working people is going to be. Silly me again...I'm assuming people who would have to shoulder the burden of these increased fees still have, you know, fucking jobs.
There is too much of it, the legislators say, and it encourages people to drive instead of taking the bus, walking or riding a bike. All that motoring is contributing to traffic jams and pollution, according to state Sen. Alan Lowenthal (D-Long Beach), and on Thursday he won Senate approval of a proposal he hopes will prompt cities and businesses to reduce the availability of free parking.
"Free parking has significant social, economic and environmental costs," Lowenthal said. "It increases congestion and greenhouse gas emissions."
In short, please die in a fire, you cock-smoking piece of shit.
