Alea Iacta Est, Indeed

Victor Davis Hanson explains the significance of last night's vote as only he can. While the article is (as always) the awesomest of awesomes, this line caught my attention.

Subscript: Do Democrats realize that we really have crossed the Rubicon? In the future when the Republicans gain majorities (and they will), the liberal modus operandi will be the model—bare 51% majorities, reconciliation, the nuclear option, talk of deem and pass, not a single Democrat vote—all ends justifying the means in order to radically restructure vast swaths of American economic and social life. Is someone unhinged at the DNC? They just blew up any shred of bipartisan consensus when their President polls below 50%, the Democratically-controlled Congress below 20%, and health care reform less than 50%. Usually unpopular leaders and their unpopular ideas seek the shelter of minority rights and prerogatives. What will they do when they are in the minority—since they’ve entered the arena, boasted “let the games begin” and shouted “by any means necessary”?

Indeed, Professor. But please allow me to add on little addendum. By virtue of the means and tactics used in the Obamacare Debacle, the left has also crossed the Rubicon of the electoral relationship between voters and votees. The left has demonstrated that the now majority will of the people should be ignored. The left has demonstrated that if the people say, "No Fucking Way!", you just brush them aside. The left has demonstrated that their agenda trumps electoral politics. And the left has demonstrated that they hold everybody not of their own to not even be worthy to share the same air, space, time, depth, and sound as them.

The Rubicon has been breached. The voters no longer matter to the elected and their enablers. The left has deemed that they want to play rough. And to them, I (only rhetorically) say:


Fuck you, you furyfucked fuckfaced fuckorgans fucked with the fuckhammer forged from the fucking fuckfurnace of fistfucked fuckhurtiness and fuckjacks. Fuck you for blithely ignoring the will of the people. Fuck you for telling us that we do not matter. Fuck you for thinking that you and your fucking fuckforced fuckbag of fuck legislation and concepts were so important, they fucking superseded the process so much so that the fucking process had to endure more dirty tweaking than a Thai Tranny Massage Parlor. And fuck you for stating that the voters do not fear you.

Well, you know what, you losterfucked losers of liberalism? You better learn real fucking quick that the voting public is about to do this to your electoral careers. You better learn real fucking quick that you have pissed off a majority of the population by your actions. And you better fucking realize that a megafuckington bomb of electoral skullfucking is whizzing down from 35,000 feet onto your fucking heads as we speak.

Yes, lefties. You crossed the last thread of civility between your side and those opposed to you last night. You set in motion a chain of events that will not go well for you and your careers. And you fucking spit on our shoes for the last fucking time. Be prepared for the wrath of the voters you have unleashed by your actions.
