The Patron Saint Of The Moronosphere Is Married To A Scandi?

The glitterati and literati got all wee-wee'd up this autumn over a Swedish Hollywood Housewife with an irresistible name. Anna Anka caused a hullabaloo by suggesting that being a housewife might be a worthy goal for Swedish women.

The gasps of horror echoed from the corridors of think tanks to the editorial offices of daily papers. "She praises Islamist ideals," lamented the Social Democratic Women's Federation. But she had her fans, too. One pundit wrote that the best formula for a happy marriage is a working husband with a genuine housewife

When I first arrived in Stockholm and had not yet found work, Swedish women would ask me if I intended to be a "lyxhustru" (luxury housewife). The hostility in their tone was easy to detect.

"They're just jealous," sniffed Ms. Anka, at the reaction she provoked by extolling the virtues of being a trophy wife rather than a feminist soldier in the workforce.

Ace writes about the White House attacking Palin.

At first he wrote that he thought they were afraid, and then seemed to start thinking maybe they're trying to tie her to anti-Obamacare because she's so stupid and unpopular.

Interesting either way, but I don't think it matters either way.

So, I check my email this evening

From Alice H, an email entitled "Oh Dear..."

I was looking at our referrals, and noticed that we got one from Google Blog Search.  The search term was "ass fuck" (no quotes).  Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, we are the sixth hit for "ass fuck" on Google Blog Search.

Apparently there's an old post where the words "ass" and "fuck" make frequent appearance, and that's what is driving all these hits.  So first, I'd like to apologize to anyone who was looking for some sort of visual aid to assist with your punching of the clown, and had your junk immediately and viciously recede into your abdomen upon viewing our crappy little moronblog, but then again, why the fuck are you looking for porn on Google Blog Search to begin with?  There are probably millions of places that'd give you better search results.  Porn is of course strictly prohibited by our host, but if you're looking to see something obscene, I mean a really brutal ass-pounding, this might be, ahem, up your alley.

I'd also take this time to note that as I was reading Alice's email, the Gmail ticker had up an ESPN story on Wide Receiver Plaxico Burress testifying before the grand jury...

Troubling News In The Moronosphere

Turns out Paul Anka's wife was arrested today.

According to the police report, Anna allegedly hurled a piece of ice at Paul that hit him in the head. Paul went to the hospital to get the resulting wound closed up with two staples, then later returned home to find no sign of Anna.

The police report says Paul called authorities and reported her missing. When Anna eventually returned home, cops became aware of the situation and arrested her for domestic battery. The Ventura County D.A.'s office rejected the case.
