Nissan is currently working to develop a system that actually makes the gas pedal resist the pressure of your foot when you accelerate faster than the ideal for MPGs.  I really hope they aren't this fucking stupid.  Is anyone else seeing themselves trying to hit the gas to avoid a collision, and the stupid pedal not going?  Yeah, you can turn the stupid thing off, but I'm guessing you won't think to or have time to do it if someone's about to hit your car.
