Bacteria Destroy World-Ending Oil Plume
Why, Its almost like the environment is a giant, stable system that has existed for billions of years without spiraling out of control.
I mean, it would almost have to have some type of self-regulation system or something. I know, confusing.
I remember a month or two ago I told my father-in-law that this wouldn't even be remembered in ten years as a major disaster because it would have almost zero long-term impact. He, being the hippie commie type thought I was crazy.
Well, where's your ecological disaster now? As Dr. Ian Malcolm said, life finds a way. We humans really need to stop overestimating our importance to nature.
